A daedric war axe (1-handed axe) in a master locked chest, in Sunderstone Gorge, near the kitchen and cages, just past the stand with a glass helmet (which might get knocked off in a fight)

Are you sure it isn't just a level-scaled weapon?

Anything you find in a chest is from a levelled list.
Sometimes things out in the open are levelled too, I have had an ebony sword standing against a chest become a steel sword because I had to reload due to dying and my last save was outside the cave.
