I feel so smart! :toughninja: I watched the trailer and I loved the graphics and everything but I cant understand the plot. Can someone explain?

The official page summarizes the story as this:

"The dark ages have become corrupted. Heinous creatures have emerged from underground. Townsfolk are disappearing.

Upon the promise of their fortune in gold, two mercenaries have taken on the daunting task of finding out where the innocents have been taken and to stop the madness. Their journey will take them on a dark and twisted path where they will encounter vicious creatures, death and sacrifice. This path will lead them deep within the world of Kala Moor...and to the secrets of The Demon's Forge."

Some things you can piece together from the trailers released and articles published from press events:

- Caddoc (Graham McTavish) and E'lara have acquired an ancient artifact from a spirit named Seraphine (Lucy Lawless 'Xena')
- There is a main villain who wants this artifact back
- The artifact has the power to communicate with the dead (interaction with dead corpses to reveal additional story)
- There is an evil substance that seems to be the motivating factor for the enemies in the game (referred to as an addictive drug like substance)
- The heroes follow Seraphine down the proverbial rabbit hole as she lures them in with her ability to grant magic powers and other upgrades
- The heroes motive changes from simply wanting riches to being personally invested in the story surrounding this artifact

This is all I could gather from watching everything and reading what has been released. I hope that this thread can serve as an additional repository for story related info.
