There is no patch coming.

How do you know this?

I booted up the game earlier and i was prompted to download another patch. Didnt sort my saves out though, started again, if the saves corrupt again ill be getting rid of the game sadly.

Unfortunately, timing is everything for us xbox users. Using Borderlands as an example, there was recently a patch put out for the game on ps3, pc, and xbox. The ps3 and pc patch was available earlier for them simply because xbox not only updated their dashboard for all xbox users on Nov 1, but is also releasing Kinect today or tomorrow, which is a much higher priority for them then releasing a patch for a game. Xbox users finally go the Borderlands patch yesterday. If a patch is available for FNV on xbox, which there doesn't seem to be yet, it will probably be delayed until the Kinect release is done and those bugs are worked out. On a side note, using the Borderlands patch as an example, I have two xbox in my house. My older xbox got the Borderlands patch the same day it was out for ps3 and pc where my new xbox slim didnt get it until it was officially released for xbox yesterday. I have never cleared any of my cache on either xbox. I have no idea how that happened, but it did.

GROAN.....we have been waiting so long. Can they at least tell us whether the save issue fix will allow us to use the saves that aren't working or are we going to have to start from scratch?

I won't be playing the game further until I am sure that my saves will....save.

Guess I will go back to Red Dead Redemption...
