There's A Reason Why It's In The Bargain Bin

So I recently saw FO:NV for $19.99 brand new in stores so I bought a copy. I had actually bought the game the first day it came out back in October, when it was a full $60+, but the bugs were game breaking and thoroughly ruined the fun that was to be had so I traded it in around December.

I figured that by now Obsidian would have worked out the critical bugs the game had but I couldn't be more wrong. As I installed the game to my HD I envisioned finally getting the Enclave Remnant armor and vaporizing enemies with some strong energy weapons as I was never able to keep ED-E alive before in order to do so. After 52 hrs of gameplay, finally getting ED-E's companion quest done and strong enough to take on the challenge, ED-E disappears from my game. His perk is still active but he's nowhere to be found and although I've tried to play on without him hoping he'll turn up eventually I've had no such luck. Now the very reason I started playing has become impossible to carry out, and that's not the only NPC that I know of that has disappeared or major bug still present that I can name.

After 9 months this game still has bugs that are so severe that companions completely vanish? Does Obsidian think this is acceptable? I'm so sorry I wasted over $80 on this game alone which continues to disappoint. Bethesda, PLEASE stop allowing these inadequate developers to ruin your good name. Brink flopped, Hunted:DF flopped, FO:NV flopped. Lets hope Rage doesn't continue the trend but at this rate the odds aren't looking very good. But again, people are wasting their money because they see a name they know and love on the box cover and each time most of us are left regretting the purchase. I'm not buying any more of these nobody companies' games regardless of the fact that you're backing them, I've had enough.

Its horrible to want to play NV, but having to fight the game constantly. Some of us have issues so severe that the crashes happen every few minutes.Doesnt seem to matter if I make new characters.
