As the title states,.. I'm wondering if there has been a tutorial done that explains the setting in preference's
so the people understand what changes what.

For example I was looking to slow down my pan (spacebar mouse drag) I bearly move my mouse and it's gone for miles,
it way to aggressive along side the zoom (V key) which is slow ass.
