Is there a utility to determine which mods a particular save

Post » Fri Jun 01, 2012 11:13 am

Hey guys,

In Oblivion, the Oblivion Mod Manager would have a UTILITIES -savegame manager that would let you see what a savegame used. The Steam garbage, obviously, doesn't help; but niether does the Nexus Mod Manager.

Is there anything for Skyrim, that does this?

Thanks...

http://www.gamesas.com/forum/183-skyrim-mods/ <-- There's the board you want.

And, yes. Open up the save in a text editor. There's a list after a bunch of the non-alphabetical characters of what plugins a save depends on.

Thanks, Deaths, I'll check that out right now...

That's a link to the general mods forum.

I've done a search, and it hasn't helped. Is there a utility for skyrim's savegames, or no?

Looking at my data, the plugin list is right before the stats are listed.

Yes, I linked it because this is Technical Support, not third-party support.

There is a utility. It's called Notepad. Open the save in any text editor that can handle large files, Notepad++ works, Ctrl-F->skyrim.esm->Search.

If looking for a parser, there are plenty. But, again, this is not the board for it.

I know, but it's much simpler to just grep it. :P
