Is there a way to drop items one at a time?

Post » Sun Mar 06, 2011 12:45 pm

Let's say I have a bunch (10+) of a certain item in my inventory, like dinosaur toys or legion money for instance, is there a way to drop an item one at a time without bringing up the menu box, then dragging the bar to 1?

I'm on PC btw.

Haven't found a way to do it on PC either. Of course, now that I say this, someone comes along, calls me a bum and tells that it can be done and which buttons to press. :P

Well, if you have 5 or less, it lets you drop them one at a time. 6 or more and the number menu pops up.

So no way to do it? I guess that puts a damper on my bed covered in NCR money and my bathtub full of jet.

NCR dollars? I'll quote ol' General Wait and See on this. "This paper? It isn't even fit to wipe my ass with"

Perhaps if you request this in the mods forum, somebody might be able to create a mod for you. I don't think it would be too hard - but I don't know much about scripting etc. You could open the GECK and place a bunch of notes on your bed, but it's not exactly the same...

Used to be shift and click in FO3 and Oblivion, IIRC.

Well, you might be able to limit the number of times you need to play with the quantity bar. Put all the crap in a nearby box. Take out 5 (number bar). Now drop the five one at a time (click). Now go back for another 5..... yeah, you need to play with the bar a bit, but it's less times.
