It is kind of stupid that they let you remap the change ammo key, but it doesn't free up the 2 key for binding it to a hotkey like Fallout 3.
I hope they fix this, I had a nice system going with Fallout 3. I used 1 for melee weapons, 2 for pistol, 3 for close range weapon (i.e. shotgun), 4 was for medium range (assault rifle), 5 was for grenades and 6 was for long range. Hotkeys 7 and 8 I changed depending on what type of situation I was expecting to get into. Most of the time I had mines on 7 and some type of special weapon on 8.
