Thiefs "radiance" quests?

So I've done one each of the extera thief guild jobs (Vex and what's his name). Is there any reason to do any more?

Spoiler
Do 5 in each major city and it unlocks a special mission in that city. Once you do that mission you unlock a new fence in that city and the thieves guild gets new stuff in it, and all fences get more $$$. Do the special mission for each major city and you get guildmaster gear, new thieves, a lot of fences each with 4000 gold, and thane like conversation topics with guards to get out of bounties.

Unfortunately, I got burned out doing all these quests because they are random. I just seemed to be doing the same thing over and over. I unlocked the special mission in two cities and gave up. I haven't played that character in over a month now. It's probably just me, but you might keep it in mind.

Do what Noxious said. That's a full-on spoiler so I'll post a much more minor spoiler:
Spoiler
Do 5 of any kind or combination from Vex and/or Delvin in each city Windhelm, Whiterun, Solitude, and Markarth.

Edited for coding syntax.

Right. And just blow through them as fast as you can. If they give you a 6th job in a city you've already done 5 for, then just don't take the job. Vex and Delvin get kind of pissy but they'll then be happy to give you a new one. My only complaint about the TG radiant quests is that. You should be able to tell them you're not doing anymore jobs in X city right now so that you don't have to keep going through the same dialogue over and over again.

Also, items appear on your trophy wall as you complete more jobs (copied from the UESP)
  • http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Jeweled_Candlestick appears after you complete 5 jobs.
  • http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Ornate_Drinking_Horn appears after you complete 15 jobs.
  • http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Golden_Ship_Model appears after you complete 25 jobs.
  • http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Golden_Urn appears after you complete 35 jobs.
  • http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Jeweled_Goblet appears after you complete 45 jobs.
  • http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Jeweled_Flagon appears after you complete 55 jobs.
  • http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Jeweled_Pitcher appears after you complete 75 jobs.
After completing 125 jobs, a http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Containers is added next to the shelves which contains random loot and potions that improve your stealth skills.
