Thieves guild armorcompletion glitch? : V

Anybody else unable to complete the thieves guild because they sold the armor they got when the joined?

Yes, quite a few people have done that, I've seen many threads about it.
As a hoarder I never had the problem.

I never sell unique gear.

If i'm done using it I stash it away...

never need money that badly quite frankly

Didn't think it was imperative to keep it and I wasn't going to use it anyway.

I never knew that at least one of the Thieves Guild Armor (coz I sold it) was needed to push through with the quest not until I experienced it. If you're playing on PC.. just use the console commands (~) then type player.additem (base ID of the armor that you want to upgrade). That's what I did and solves the problem. :biggrin:
