Only recently had this start happening. Every freakin' time I go into Riften, there's a stray thief being chased, then killed by guards. Nice to have some free loot and all, but it's annoying having dead bodies strewn through town. Is this just something that's going to happen continuously or is there a way to stop it? Tempted to animated them and just let them go to dust. Knowing my luck I too will get a death sentence.

Also it might be silly to ask....but how do you go about with the restoration of the Guild? Is there a quest for it? I don't think I've gotten the trophy for it so it's still out there.

Yes, it does happen continuosly.

And you have to do radiant quets from Vex and Delvin, till you get the special jobs in each of the major holds except Riften.

The game does remove the thieves' bodies....eventually.

Ah okay. So gotta keep doing the jobs until the big ones show up. Too bad about the stray thieves though.... can't even steal their armor to sell.


Yeah, takes a long while.

I loot the bodies, and sell what they stole since the guards don't seem interested in returning stolen stuff.

I then dump the bodies into the water.

I'm a cleaning up Riften, master thief guild leader style, one dead not so good thief at a time.
