Things To Come?

Super game, I love it, already logged over 250 hours, on my second playthrough. There are a few things I have noticed it would be nice to see.

1. Cleaning up inventory-I've got too many things in my inventory that are quest related that I can't drop. Motor Runners Helmet, extra toy rockets, extra dog brains, etc. Can it be made to where after a quest is finished we can drop that stuff? I'd love to decorate my homes with the rockets but can't :( Fun with rockets, like the fun you can have with teddy bears.

2. Toys Toys Everywhere-There are kids everywhere and especially in Freetown and Bitter Springs and it would be super to be able to do something with the Dino Toys, toy rockets, teddy bears, toy cars, Nuka Cola trucks, etc. Maybe a new achievement for giving toys away-Santa Clause Perk, like the child at heart perk or something. Or an incremental achievement award, like the Bug Stomper and Lord of Death. You know, after giving 100 toys away, then 500, then 1000. Heck I don't care if it's not worth any experience award, just something else to do. I don't know, just seems a waste to have those different toys and only have them for the fun of Rock-It Launcher ammo. (Which is very fun any ways).

3. Rock-It Launcher-I got the schematics for it, but it isn't showing up in my Weapon Recipe menu. Maybe my level in a skill isn't high enough.

4. Both Ed-E and Rex seem to have problems with random people. :) I wander into an area and someone says "Hey. How's it going." And Ed-E or Rex go crazy and start attacking people. :( Reloads fix this, but it is annoying.

5. More housing options. The lucky 38 is fun, but I miss Moira's home renovations. The hotel room in Novac would be nice if after we get it, it was clean....cleaner? The floor is disgusting :) Also, what about a Nuka Cola fridge? And Nuka Cola and Sunset Sarsaparilla lamps? Am I crazy? Is this too much? Probably, but just askin.

One final thing. I love this series of games. I live in Bakersfield, Calif. It's a huge joke with friends here that play Fallout that it is a Necropolis. Also, I've been to many of the places that are "references" in the game. World's largest thermometer, Bonnie and Clyde's Death car, camping in Red Rock Canyon. I read in an interview that one of the developers found it awesome to stand at the Good Springs cemetery and look out at the Vegas lights. I can't wait to go do the same.....I am such a nerd :)

That's all I have for now. Having a great time playing. Thanks for the good times. :)

CTD = Crash To Desktop, a standard feature of every game with Bethesda's name anywhere on it since at least Morrowind in my experience.

I like the toy idea as well and Lord Ranger's specific FT idea.

I would like to see maybe something that lets us have any two companions. No more one human one non-human. With some interaction between them.

semi off-topic.

Morrowind was bad for me, but Oblivion rarely CTD'd and FO3 never did.

And am I the only one who thinks organizing a tour of vegas and surroundings for Fallout fans would be awesome?

You can get airfare to Vegas dirt cheap these days and some off-strip hotels are offering fares like under 20 bucks a night.
