Things I've found underground.

Things i've found underground:

An entire fleet of ships
A grove of trees
A lake
A Multi-towered fort
Two hundred(ish) foot tall (deep?) waterfall
A mammoth chop shop.
....

Please contribute if your spotted anything interesting in the absolutely insane caverns and chasms of Skyrim.

Not sure of your familiar with this.
I'll say the least possible to not spoil it for people.
I found a underground place where people were all drinking wine. Well I didn't actually find it, I may have been kinda brought there, sorta!? I can't remember I was drunk, in game of course.

I have never seen a bathroom in oblivion or skyrim. Please tell where. I have always been looking for one.

There's sort of a latrine in Embershard mine. A wooden platform with a hole cut out of it, and a bucket sitting in the hole.

See that bucket in the corner? Or that little room off to the side with nothing but a bucket or some straw on the floor?

I could be wrong, but I don't think that was for reading.... :whistling:

No wonder there are so many 'ruined' books all over Skyrim...

I've found a shimmering orb thing which made a lot of flashing lights and buzzing noises before dumping me into an underground lake. I'm still wondering whether it was an alarm system or a dwemer toilet.

A mammoth skeleton caught in a giant spiderweb, in a cave with an entrance that would barely fit a human. To be fair, the mammoth seemed to have fallen in through a hole from the surface somewhere.

Unwrapped, armored mummies
Spiders that spit ice logies
Traps
Mentally challenged, fur wearing criminal scum
Puzzles
Spinning doors that require a claw and a combination to open
More mummies and traps
Walls covered in chicken scratch that i can somehow magically decipher between 1 to 3 words of, but not the whole thing
Did i mention mummies?

Dead people with back stories on how they got there.
Bone break fever.
Places you can get to only if you have a certain shout.
Master locked door, behind it expert locked chest, inside the chest 11 gp and iron dagger.
Broken urn with ~1000 gp worth loot.
My stolen sweetroll.

this seems to happen way to often also you forgot one thing -> the locked chest had an expert level trap to disarm first( those things that look like all you would need to do is cut the string)

An unmarked prison in the Sea of Ghosts called The Chill, guarded by Frost Atronachs and filled with prison cages and bedrolls.

The fact that it was totally unmarked on the map is what made it so interesting.

I didn't think that it was anywhere near as large as people were saying. Much of the 'hugeness' is on simply getting to it through the other ruins if you are starting from scratch and haven't visited some of those ruins before the quest. Although yes, I did just sit and stare at it for a while before venturing out.
