If everybody positively hates him, he really doesn't have any other options. Unless crawling away and withering to nothing is an option. The best thing to do would be to try and actually teach the guy some social skills, that way he won't always be like that and won't always be completely miserable, as he obviously is. Then there's the possibility of a mental disorder.
I agree...although I also understand that it's easy to say looking at it from the outside.
A few years back, a couple that lived next door to me had a 10-year-old son who had ADHD, and he was over at my house constantly. He would talk a mile a minute and it was really hard to end conversations with him, without him trying to follow me into my house to keep talking, lol. He was a really nice kid, but I literally got bombarded every time I stepped outside of the house or got home from work. Part of me felt bad for him but, I have to admit, part of me got pretty annoyed after a while. He was a nice kid, but it was way too invasive. I had to literally run from my house to my car while pretending to be on the phone in order to avoid him (which didn't always work).
