I'm proud of maintaining a semblance of sanity in this hellhole I live in.

Recently, when I saved up enough money to buy a laptop, my family thinks I'm money-savvy now.

Another recent occurrence is that I do various forms of Technical Theatre, and just recently I got paid for it for the first time (Sound Board operator) rather than just being a volunteer at school or a community theatre. I was proud of breaking that barrier, for actors and techies alike, it's a barrier that a lot of dreams get crushed in. Now I'm wondering if I can keep working at it in the future.

I'm proud of the fact that i'm the best FPS gamer of all time.

Im proud that I am a formiddable opponent to my firends anti-government ramblings, often getting him to say "Whatever. Your wrong. Im done with this." And hang up the phone.

And I am oh so proud of my creativity. I often get compliments for it, and its really my only skill.

Ah! And my ability to nearly ace tests, even if the teacher thinks im stupid for failing homework.

Never been more proud not to be a Canucks fan and not be from Vancouver.

I guess I'm proud of a lot of things, but they're all superficial. Stuff in school and sports.


The one thing I'm really proud of is my friend. I helped him with his substance abuse and he's now in college and everything.

Also proud of my little brother who I had to almost raise by myself with my dad in the military and my mom never caring. He's a great kid now, 15 years old. Love him. Proud of him.

I just stumbled across a short story I wrote around christmas in high school, re-reading it I'm actually very proud of it, by far the best thing I've written. It's very...Norwegian both in theme and language, but essentially it's a black comedy about a family being torn apart by a sub-par christmas dinner. My Norwegian teacher read it to his family on christmas eve, which surprised me, when I say black comedy I mean black. Still, I'm proud of that, now that I've actually found the file I should see about doing something with this, at least saving it somewhere I won't lose it...and correct that one typo I found.

They are not things, but I am proud of my daughter and son.

I'm proud of getting to my third year of university and almost making it through, with good grades to boot.
I'm proud of the fact that I am renting my own house and am financially independent from my parents, because it proves to them I'm not as useless and incapable as they like to think.
I'm proud of the fact that I've stuck with vegetarianism for 7 years and have no plans of giving it up.
I'm proud of the good job I've done in raising my lil baby cockatiel.

And I'm proud of the fact that despite being a technological new player (What the hell?? Damn you censorship! I'm allowed to insult myself and my techno noobyness!), I fixed my laptop's bluescreening all by myself with no help whatsoever.

I won my elementary school spelling bee.
I figured out how to play Deck the Halls (right hand part only) without every looking at a music sheet of it.
I graduated from college.

Yeah, that's all I can think of right now.

I'm an absolutely pathetic human being.. although it is tough dealing with some of what I go through, so I shouldn't be too hard on myself. The only thing I'm proud of though is the music I've written. :rock:

Running a mile in 6 minutes when I was in 7th grade felt pretty good. Also getting my first nuke in MW2 felt a little good and winning an airsoft match while I was the only one left made me feel like a boss.

I′m proud of reaching advlthood without having smoked or being drunk once. Still haven′t and don′t intend to, ever.

Nothing else I can mention without getting egotistical.

Same here in a little less then 2 months. Always took pride in being straight edge without feeling the need to resort to such things, a bit of a personal code of mine if you will.

Other then that however I can't really say without sounding like a pretentious snob (to late for that I suspect).

Me? I'm most proud of my driving record.
I spent 10 years of driving about 500 miles a day (+/- a hundred miles), and was only involved in two accidents in that time.
One was my fault, one was not.

I'm proud of my coin collection and getting accepted into the Police Explorer program at my local PD. As a person though I'm proud of my ability to make a lot of good friends despite the fact that I dont like meeting new people I still manage to find folks with similar interests.

I should clarify: I'm proud that I have my own opinions and not letting other people tell me what to think.

Neither have I. Although I'm not really proud of that, that's just because I couldn't be bothered with it.
