I think Im addicted to this game.

54 hours in, just made it to the strip, level 20. WOW. I can't believe how much Im playing this game.. I used to be all about sitting down and playing games for hours on end but the past couple of years I havent been able to do that, well here comes New Vegas to piss my girlfriend off and ruin my social life =P. Im not sure whats so intruiging, or what is so immersing (immsersing? immersive? Im tired leave me alone) but this game definately has what I need :). GREAT job Obsidian

Not to mention I have 21 ACTIVE missions, and 22 or 23 completed missions. They keep stacking up! Very overwhelming, which is what I was hoping for with FO3 (but was kinda let down)

I find it extremely fun and it's a lot better than Fallout 3. The only thing that pisses me off is that the freezing problem and terrible frame-rate drops in some areas exist. Other than that, perfect game.

I think Im addicted to this game.

Me too mate, me too. On my 3rd playthrough, 50 hours on my first char, 30 on my second, and 15 on my current, but I'm trying for every quest possible, every location etc. for this last char. Minus the main "game deciding mission(s)."

Yep, I'm addicted. 83 hours, 39 completed quests. I'm only getting 5 or so hours of sleep a night, and there was one night I didn't sleep at all, and then went to work. Can't... stop... playing.

Level 29, 38 hours played been to like 120 locations. This is my 2nd char btw, my first i played for about 50 hours (level 30 of course) but i switched to a more fun build. First was sneak sniper build which imo is boring. This time i play an energy weapons build which is a lot more fun and everybody that says it svcks has no clue. Next time it will be a melee build.

My first playthrough was on hardcoe but i found it just boring and frustrating (not hard) so i quit after i got the achievement, both playthroughs has been pretty much exclusively on very hard btw.

October 19th, pre-order collector edition arrives. Minifridge stocked with Mountain Dew Amp, Hot Pockets, and Burritos. Microwave on top the minifridge. Woke up on the 22rd with keyboard face and the game asking if I wanted to reload and a garbage can full of hot pocket wrappers, burrito wrappers, and empty cans of Mountain Dew AMP.

it doesn't matter, i know how every quest ends, all the different paths you can take, so the game is now boring to me.

Well, see ya later then. Have fun playing some other game.

No offense to mezo here but am I the only one that finds a lot of gamers these days have the attention span of a spider monkey on crack?

my attention span for this game 'lasted' for more than a week, playing NV with little interruption, not counting days i had to work.

Despite having played through the entirety of Fallout 3 numerous times, I still get the urge to play it every now and then.

Granted, you're not me, nobody is...

What was my point?

Same here. I got totaly addicted to it. I as well used to be a hardcoe player but the last years I couldn't bother much with games and I ended up just playing until the game ends. But Fallout NV is just WOW! I want to play it all day, evertime I close it, I want to play it again and again...Ahhhhhhh am going to play it NOW.
