I think I found what inspired Bethesda's Nightingale Armor

Post » Wed Jun 20, 2012 7:05 pm

So I was browsing around Reddit today and a dude posted an album with lots of awesome LARP costumes. One of them looked surprisingly like the Nightingale Armor and I thought I would share with you guys.

Nightingale armor looks like a bad superhero outfit. Seriously, what is with the cape?

Looks like someone over at Bethesda was spending too much time on Facebook instead of coding the game properly. :P

And having to upgrade the damned armor with void salts is RIDICULOUS.

It's a pretty lame concept.

Is my guy supposed to be at the armour table pouring salt on it and hitting it with a hammer?

Not only that, but they are damned expensive, and when was the last time you saw a storm atronauch just wandering around?! In my 6 characters and over 600 hours of gameplay, never have I seen a wild atronauch....ever.

The photo is dated as uploaded in 2010 so it definitely looks like they took the armour concept

I have no idea what "larp" is but I've got to admit this is creative and impressive.
