I think I have a new favorite Daedric Prince

Post » Tue May 29, 2012 12:57 am

I never really got into the Orsimer (Orcs) before to be honest. I am absolutely loving my Orsimer named Hammer right now though. I am loving how brutal the Orcs are in Skyrim and how different they actually are from the other races. For some reason everyone seemed aristocratic in Oblivion and they all bled together. I am also really diggin Malacath. His shrine, his quest and the way he treats his people. I am not sure why he is considered "a bad daedra" as he gives purpose to the downtrodden and afflicted. I mean, he scorns physical weakness but because of that very reason the Orsimer are driven to work hard and live fulfilling lives. They aren't content with just getting old and they honestly remind me a lot like the Klingons in Star Trek with their ways of living. I just love how barbaric and intense Malacath is.

Yeah "arbeit macht frei", the old better die in a ditch, the whole tribe with only one father, to ensure only "strong" children are born, whats not to admire.

You are taking real life morality and mixing it with a video game.. Please don't do that in my thread.

One of his names is The King of 'unconsensual six', that's why.

ahhh... Maybe I should read more of the lore on him. It doesn't bother me that Orcs prefer to die in battle or that they have a chief who is in charge of having children but the [censored] part... that is over the line. Of course I do find some of the evil daedra to be interesting like Molag Bal

it's alright.. I have done the same. I am so used to seeing WALL OF TEXTs everywhere I go that I have learned to skim.. sometimes to my own detriment. Nice to know Malacath doesn't... do that..

Malacath is interesting, but, like Sheogorath said, he isn't popular at tea parties.
