Ive hit 1260-ish mark, and everytime i try to the latest save, i notice it isnt there, and i have to delete my last save and re-save because overwriting doesnt work...

Im on Xbox, whats the most save files at one time you guys have? I wasnt aware there was a save limit, and its going to take forever to delete all these saves, does anyone have a faster idea to delete old save files on Xbox?

Why keep all those saves? I constently recycle saves when I make new ones (I don't overwrite saves anymore), I never end up with more than 15.

Not sure if this helps with your research into the matter, but I have 1,436 saves on my PC version.

Are you talking saves as in single files in a list, or overwritten ones? I stagger my saves in three's and overwrite them as I play. I also quicksave a lot.

I never have more than two. A current one and one a bit further back as a back-up.

Even if I delete all of my saves the next time I save it still increases in number I'm at like 700. Hopefully I don't end up with the same problem.

Is your console offline? I noticed that if I move my console to another place and don't connect it to the net, the date sets itself to 2005 and many games put the saves at the end of the list (thinking that they're the oldest).

EDIT: i read your next post, I guess it's not that. I'm gonna check how many saves I have.

There is no save limit.

I have 8721 saves (I know I save WAY too much ) and I havn't had a problem yet...

My save number is 3979 and I probably have more than 20 spare saves:)

1263 here. Experiencing more and more lock ups. Just cleaned out alot of useless inventory in my house an on my character, and did the whole wait for 30 days thing. I'm fine with deleting and moving onto a new character honestly I just want the last 2 DG achievements first!

god mode - no saves until you have to turn your consol/pc off
