Do we think there will be New Player Houses?

Maybe in the Soul cairn or on a new landmass? Hope so because Glitches meant I couldnt buy Proudspire Manor despite having 100.000 :/

In the DLC I mean:P

Yes but not traditional houses. We get strongholds so mostlikely they will be like being a guild master, and if where lucky maybe we will get like one house.

You can use either Castle Volkihar or Castle Dawnguard as a home, depending on which faction you join :)

So I hope there is an actual player-designated room, in which you know the chests are safe storage. Never trusted the College.

That would be pretty awesome. At least in the case of Castle Dawnguard though, I'd imagine it to be more of a communal area - beds in one room, perhaps a chest at the end of each bed. This is all guesswork, of course.

But regarding the College, I've never had any problems with it. I think my Mage still has Ulfric's clothes tucked away in the wardrobe of his old room, actually ...

Most likely the leaders of these strongholds will die or something and make you the new leader.

Ah the old "OUR LEADER IS DEAD! HEY YOU, THE GUY WHO JOINED YESTERDAY, YOU ARE THE MASTER NOW" routine.

Considering the 'main' Questline of these factions is going to take 10-20 hours, I doubt it's going to feel like 'yesterday'.

Besides, in some scenarios it makes perfect sense. The DB for example - its not anyone's choice, you were just 'born' to the role.

Except when Ulfric tried that one.

OT, while housing in the castle of the faction you join sounds grand, what about the opposing keep? Whatever happened to right of conquest? I just killed all these vampires and saved the world again, but their beds are still owned?
