I was in the presidential suite standing in front of and looking at the snow globe display case while I was looking through my strategy guide to find the location of the two I have yet to get("The Strip" and "Hoover Dam") until out of the corner of my eye I saw the screen going wonky for a couple or seconds until everything went black and white save for the HUD and the Pipboy menu. Then after sitting still for another 3-5 minutes looking at the display case not touching anything the vision gets obscured again for a few seconds and the color comes back. Sorry if this is old but i've never heard of this and I just accidentally stumbled on this.

It might be a glitch of some kind,I think it happened to my bf while I was watching him play the 360 version. All of the color was gone for a few minutes,so wierd O.o What could cause that to happen in a video game?

Are you sure you hadn't taken some meds that were wearing off? There can be some visual effects that are supposed to happen, For example when I take mentats and then a bit later they wear off it gives a weird visual effect for a short period of time. If I take mentats and something else a couple of minutes later, I'll get a visual effect for the mentats wearing off followed by a visual effect for whatever other drug I've taken wearing off. That's supposed to happen.

I strive to never use chems so I don't run the risk of being addicted. I was able to make it do it again by stepping back so the entire display stand/all collected snow globes are within my FOV and sit still not touching anything for about 3-5 minutes until the color is drained. However it isn't indefinite since I tried quick travel and it wore off by the time I reached my destination. Another thing strange that happened is when I went from the strip>casino>then when I got to the presidential suite the color was missing without having to stare at the snowglobes.
