Is this game going to kill our consoles?

First, some consoles can barely handle the base game as it is. How is it going to work when we get huge new 'expansion packs'? Personally I've had a pretty glitch fee experience but won't all these massive DLC's really put the strain on already struggling consoles?

No it won't games don't push a system until the very final wave of games and Skyrim was not in that people keep saying over and over oh this game pushes your system to its limit then guess what something that looks even better is created.

The hardware power of the current consoles aren't that weak.

Yeah but how are already unplayable gams going to react when a new boat load of DLC is dropped on them.

but they aren't unplayable. personally I have only experienced any issues with framerate and such in certain areas, such as mistwatch or IrkgnThand. The rest of the time the game runs just fine on consoles. If you're talking about glitches, those aren't the fault of the hardware, that's all in the software.

I'm not sure that you understand how DLC works. Your console doesn't load every single bit of code at once, only the pieces that it needs. It will run the same with DLC as it did without, bugs notwithstanding.

PC GAMING MASTER RACE. But no we are the proles of 1984 and you are the 'Party'. Think again.
Fixed that for you. :)
In all seriousness, with all the optimization that has been done with the last few patches, Dawnguard will probably run fine on consoles (less so on PS3).
