This game has a way of making you feel guilt

Post » Mon May 28, 2012 5:59 am

This isn't a complaint. I personally love Paarthurnax and never wanted to hurt him. In fact with all my other playthroughs I did not attack him.. But I wanted to try something different this time to experience the story from a different angle. So I killed him.. The Grebeards, whom I also love, hate me now and say I will never be forgiven. I wonder if I should reload and say screw the blades or continue..... :( any thoughts?

Haven't gotten to that specific quest, but otherwise, yes, I agree.

So many other quests I've done and actions I've taken that I feel a sense of guilt about afterwards. Absolutely love it. Part of what is making this game so great.

Yeah that is why I am wondering if I should just continue to play through the guilt at this point. For me TES is about experiencing as much as I can... So eventually I will need to do it..

When I did my Stormcloak run, and Balgruuf was all like, "Bro why you depose me?"

Feel awful man.

yeah.. it made that playthrough pretty much not fun for me anymore when I went stormcloaks... I like Balgruuf the Greater. Are there achievements for the Blades? if there are then I will continue but if not I am reloading and saying screw them.

Yeah I know what you mean, I still feel bad about the choice and I made that like a week ago. Too bad there isnt side specific achievements with the Civil War, but Balgruuf being disappointed in you is the best reason for all my other chars to go Imperial. But I am also glad Balgruuf doesnt just side with the side you support either, I sorta wish he did but glad he made his own choices.
