this is just sad...

ehh so many issues with this game to be honesty shops taking forever to open, areas in dungeons out of place by that i mean you can see threw cracks in the floor into limbo, monsters don't respond after dieing meaning once dead you cant get the items unless you leave the area or reload the game, garbage items left or forgotten to be named, lagging issues with almost everything in the game, graphic bugs, lighting bugs, screwed up quests in general, major house bugs in almost every house you can buy, also when buying or selling items if there is more than 1 of the same item in a stack after selling or buying 1 it will skip the stack and move to the next and continue what you had tried to do before noticing it aka buy the item below it or sell one you didn't want to and wasting your gold. game causing major system stress and causing the gaming console to completely freeze up at random points even in game not just on load screens after a mere 30 mins or play... thus forcing me to completely unplug or shut down my xbox 360 s version....no other game has caused this for me....

and that's just a small amount of bugs ive found or dealt with and i do mean very small amount i could go on all day with the major issues in here.....

my thing is i love Bethesda games but wtf?? so many bugs on a release game?? what the hell were the beta testers doing when they should have found these issues?? i mean really if i alone found this many plus way more im sure they could have if they had done the job right sadly im very disappointed in Bethesda for not being on top of this....

don't get me wrong the game is still fund and massively addicting but still im hating a majority of these bugs and im really bummed Bethesda let them by so easily...

anyways im putting this here for you guys to put your input to as well so share away :)

Have not encountered a single thing of your list yet, and I'm about 45 hours in.

yeah I've got about 3 days on it thus far and I haven't seen anything you've mentioned.
I've had it freeze on me once, but that's probably because I've logged those three days in. lol

A word of advice to the OP, If I were Bethesda I would take one look at your post and forget about it. If you're reporting bugs and such you have GOT to be more specific. If you're seeing cracks into limbo, then say WHERE. If you're seeing quest glitches then say HOW and for WHAT quest.

If all you do is complain then that supplies Bethesda with nothing and they'll do nothing in response.

well to be fair i wasn't complaining simply sharing some of my experience with some bugs ive had as to details im not here reporting bugs am i? so its not needed! no im simply saying what i saw as simple as i can and then allowing others to do so as well :)

also my point of this entire topic was to say there are way to many bugs out for a release game and Bethesda has let me down big time they've made games ive loved in fact i love them all but this one was just sad at release granted the game still kicks ass but they should have been on top of this more...tho im more for the idea of the CEO and so on of the company wanting it out by 11/11//11 and so they forced the game creators to release it full well knowing the bugs were there and figured they'd slap on some patches soon after (thus the patch on the first day of game play) to cover there asses to avoid any major money losses from the game not being released on time. though that's just one small theory i have but it may just be some major mess ups and thus the glitches we have either way there are way to many for a game like this at the start which beta testers should have easily found and reported to be fixed.

also i have already sent in some bug reports and will continue to do so as i want to get this game up running fully as quickly as i can so it should be as it was meant to be :D

either way this is all my experience and i wanted others to be able to share theirs to

last almost everyone has experienced some of the bugs ive said aka lighting issues (texture scaling) (like when you move around quickly from a bright area to a semi darker area it get real dark real quick and harder to see then slowly gets bright again), graphics issues(aka when installing the game on the console the textures gets real poor looking and doled down) though the graphics issue doesn't bother me as much since i don't sit close to the tv anyways and so i install it to avoid the crashing of the console do to the game demanding allot and causing over heating (not that this is bad just shows they managed to use of the full potential of the console) i was trying to dumb the wording down a bit for some people on here and to save time also lags in menu ya most these things allot are having! well more so if your a xbox owner anyways as that's one of the major bugs going on right now also i only listed some of the WELL KNOWN bugs to avoid any stupid comments later though it seems in doing so i got one anyways....ehh the life of a forum.

and if you had truly read my post you'd know this so a "" WORD OF ADVICE "" to "" Kevin589 "" READ FIRST before you post a comment ^ ^

that said im done ranting at people who clearly haven't read into whats going on with the game right now and off this forum cya :)

Not trying to be funny or anything but....

Have you actually bought a previous Bethesda game on release date? bug's are expected with a game like this!

Skyrim has less bug's than oblivion and at least you can play a lot of the content unlike F:NV.

actually i have all of their games and most never gave me issues like this yes they all have bugs but this game has ALLOT of bug and i do mean allot also some major ones which can ruin a console aka not being able to install the game without having even more issues can cause over heating for the console for those who don't install it to avoid the bugs

the texture scaling issue isn't safe either for certain people with certain disabilities and can be a health hazard ya many things most others don't come with at the get go and normally should be fixed from the start not ranting at you just pointing out the obvious

also oblivion i had almost no glitches at all from the start aside from a few quest ones but nothing else same for morrowind and all their other games hardly as many as this game and F:NV well that's not the topic here this isn't the F:NV forums is it?

anyways back on topic plus more glitches seems to be showing up if you actually go out and explore this game you will find loads of issues like your body disappearing partially into rocks that's just a small one i found exploring mountain areas tho but you get the idea if you explore you will find them ive also found a item in the game at 1 point that was on npc i had killed with a item that had no icon and was named something like "item not named yet" or "item name not entered" or some crud not sure what it is now as once i grabbed it the game froze for a few mins and then the item disappeared and i was going on near 24 hours of no sleep from shear addiction to the game.

either way im not saying the game is bad as i clearly love it but the bugs that came with it on release date were/are not hard to find and should have been easily found and fixed before it was released.

I have not suffered any major bug's in 54 hour's of play, that said i am avoiding named, main and guild quest's until patch 1.2 and simply taking my time exploring the map on the east side (only discovered 4 cities so far) and trying to get through the insane amount of Misc quest's i somehow have managed to accumulate :P

I know it's not the F:NV forum's, that isnt the point, i was simply naming another recent Bethesda game (well they published it but meh it's still theirs as far as im concerned). Comparing skyrim to the last 3 title's (Oblivion, fallout 3 and F:NV) it's a lot more stable and more playable so far. I'm simply pointing out that i expect bug's in a large Bethesda title, annoying yes but there is so many potential ways to play this game they cant find every single bug or quest conflict, i have seen a lot of people having problems with certain quest's in which i and other's have not come across, simply because we do thing's differently.

It would be nice if M$ speed the patch through their certification process by throwing more people at it, we all know M$ like's to put one over sony (DLC exclusive's anyone?) :P

ya i understand :) tho its not that way for most your LUCKY to not have many of these said bugs me however i seem to be one of those (like most) UNLUCKY ones.... but it seems the more i play he more the game gets messed up quests wise or more seeing into limbo ones the most recent limbo one i found is in (Swindler's Den) during the (In My Time of Need) quest towards the back of the cave inside you can look right up and clearly see a HUGE part of the map of the dungeon out of place though to me it looks more like it wouldn't even fit there even if they moved it around so its like it was the wrong set piece they used from the get go but im not sure if this is for everyone also i installed the game id rather have issues than my 360 slim dieing on me from massive over heating :)

another limbo one i got last nite was in Whiterun after i went on a crazy massacre and killed everyone there (tho it seems they wont allow kids to die in this game.... which is good for those weirdos out there who love that but ya) and as i was running around killing the guards left :D the Skyforge there and the ground below it was gone.....and well i fell in....tho i got out after finding some invisible path to move on which was small and not easy and a simply reload of the game fixed that

i simply think allot of these bugs may pertain to me installing it and playing for 8 hours + and the HDD fix their releasing may help fix allot of it same for these so called quest bugs we have i think there just a random event of bad luck most get and may be fix once they release the next patch (tho this is me REALLY hoping that's the case)

and the only quest bugs ive found or i think ive found are the thieve guild one (Scoundrel's Folly) and (Promises to Keep) i cant find were Gulum-Ei went to in the thieves quest and the other it has speaking to sibbi Black-Briar done and steal Frost's Lineage Papers done but it wont let me go any further on those...(tho i think the second quest i said is a failed one since i ratted sibbi out to his mother)

but since i have the CE game guide im gonna open it (didn't want to till i beet the game at least once) and see if there is something im doing wrong and try to finish them

right now tho im waiting on this patch and i do hope it fixes allot will see tho :D

One of the main thing's i do to avoid quest bug's is to check UESPwiki and go straight to the bug's section, while it can at time's give slight spoiler's at least i can avoid triggering a bug at a certain point by doing it the 'right' way. It's a good thing this game has a good replay value ;) still on my first playthrough which will basically be trying as much as i can and doing different thing's while grabbing a few achievements along the way.

Once a decent amount of fixes have been applied then ill start specializing a bit :)
