This is kind of an annoying bug that wont go away....

Post » Thu May 26, 2011 11:22 pm

Well sometimes i like to go into 3rd person and walk around for a bit...

When zooming how far back the camera i want to be behind my character in 3rd person view, it can only go as far back only 5 or so feet behind him... Although it lets you zoom out further, after letting the button go, it automatically reverts back to being right behind him up close.... No way to set the camera as furthest as it goes behind him :(

Maybe if I restart my 360, but idk... not game breaking, but annoying.

Yea that didn't happen if F3 but I'm pretty sure they changed it so maybe it's supposed to be there.

Hmmm...you really think that Obsidian changed 3rd person so that it could only zoom out to about 5 feet behind the character? They did say they wanted the targeting reticule to work properly in 3rd, so could be. Can we at least see our character's feet?

yea i think thats intentional because they wanted a more "gears of war" type over the shoulder 3rd person view

not being able to zoom way out permanently really svcks in my opinion, i prefer sneaking characters and therefore want to see as much area around me as possible
