This Needs Fixing...

Venture to Windhelm. When you enter the city, you can't miss the Candlehearth Hall. Go to it. Upstairs is a Dark Elf named Luaffyn; she is quite charming and her livelihood is that of a bard.

Today I was getting ready to finally join the Stormcloaks and, after I encountered Luaffyn, I thought a nice song would get me in the mood. She had Age of Oppression up for request, the Stormcloak's equivalent to the Confederate's Dixie. She sang wonderfully and was pitch perfect. A grand performance.

But there is one problem. Luaffyn actually sang Age of Aggression, the song of the Empire. BETHESDA FIX NAO!

Arrest the traitor! Let her serve as an example to those who might trifle with the song request of skyrims true sons and daughters

A carefully dosed application of FUS RO DAH! might be in order?

well you could say that the artistry is well put off by the bard. Meaning that because of the tension between the two opposing sides it is often good to hear bards play the other in taverns so that crowds can follow the effort. What I mean is that maybe this is a mistake on bethesda and something they missed. But it could be a positive trait. I mean I'm sure Ulfric is not going to censor everything and control the masses with an iron fist and it gives some credit to the artistry that bards are free to travel to different areas and play tunes from other lands as well.

Well, I punched her in the face, but the guards didn't like that, so I had to stop. But she won't be expecting a tip anytime soon, I can tell you that much.

your not seeing the point. I mean why is it that I'm an imperial soldier and yet I can walk into Ulfrics reach and walk right up to him and start a conversation. Bards through time immemorial have always had the freedom of expression, I see no need to censor that.

Yes that my be, but she blantantly sang the wrong song when she said she would sing Age of Oppression. It's against my creed as a Stormcloak and it's against the Bard's Code!

what is the bards code? I missed that one. Hell if anything it starts a bar room brawl, and that is always eventful.

The Bards Code, invented by myself, is essentially the Mailman's Code, with the word "Bard" replacing every instance of "mailman". The couriers are busy handing them out, but there will be a delay due to weather.

It's an IQ test, and the residents of that illustrious city failed it.

Or, she is protesting the plight of her fellow Dunmer.

I prefer option #1.
