My female Argonian is named Lizzie. Heavy armor wearing battle mage with dragonish head spikes.

argonian assassin/bandit: black-birds-cry (you've all heard his story  )
argonian illusionist: sanguine-dreamer (the spells he uses will range from terrible horrors to pacifying bliss, so the double meaning works well)

Swims-Many-Rivers. This took me a good ten minutes to think up and it's an obvious ripoff of Scouts-Many-Marshes. As you can see, I'm not a fountain of imagination.

i usually go with the names that use english words in them like for instance my male argonian i named Blue-Scale and my female argonian i named Dawn-Wind both of them are swordsmen but with different prefferances for instance Blue-Scale is heavily scarred has long horns blue scales on his forehead and blue feathers and is very physically powerful and prefers claymores and light armor and is a staunch supporter of the stormcloak rebellion because he believes the empire was weak to surrender as opposed to fight to the last man for what they believe in and has been known to have little patience for people he deems as weak or cowardly in many ways hes more of an orc than an argonian.

Whereas Dawn-Wind has almost untouched scales of a shade of reddish gold and her face and many different shades of red and gold and has a ring of many small horns along her head and sandy brown feathers she is very slim but agile looking and prefers to use a one handed sword and a shield and a suit of heavy armor and she is a strong supporter of the empire and believes cooperation with the thalmor is neccisary until a way to defeat or weaken them is revealed she usually is calm and only uses violence as a last resort. as you can see they are polar opposites

My Main argonian is named Taizen, I try to go for exotic sounding names with a bit of an asian feel to them.

My personal favorite name for any Argonians so far is Runs-at-Trees. The imagery just makes me laugh.

Argonian Imperialistic names are easy though. Farts-in-Rivers, Jumps-at-Clouds, Dives-for-Tuna...okay I will do a few serious ones that sound cool imo. Stalks-the-Depths, Hides-in-Reeds, Kills-in-Darkness, Hunts-the-Moon etc etc... It is the Saxheel names that can be hard. Like Amusei, Weeban-Na, etc etc that kind of stuff.

I haven't made one yet, but I've already thought about a name for him and when I do he will be called Eyes-Of-War.

My argonian was named Draconis Targaryen. Doesn't fit with the lore much, but still pretty badass.

I have come up with a few Argonian names. Climbs-High-Rocks is probably my favorite.

Sasustha. Been the name of my Argonian chars since Daggerfall. Got the name from what it sounds like the Lizardmen in Ultima Online say. He's always been an Argonian Mage. I like using the water to my advantage as well with Argonian chars. In Oblivion, i even used the Construction Set to give all Argonians the "Water Regeneration" ability that Grummites have. Regenerate 1 HP/sec in Rain, and 2-3 HP/sec while submerged in water.
In Morrowind, i used to take my Argonian char deep sea spear fishing when i had a mod that added CRAPTONS of life to the sea, even underwater Dreugh cities. I'd then store the fish on the functional ship i got from the "Fishing Academy" mod, and use the cannons on the ship to blow up Whales. It was pretty fun taking the ship around Fort Firemoth too and blowing the crap out of all the skeletons on shore with the cannons.
svcks though that you can't fight while underwater in Skyrim, and there's not much underwater besides the occasional Slaughterfish, which you can't even fight back against.

Soars-like-Dragons, great Dovahkiin name for an Argonian right there. Simple pure and gives imagery.

Moves-with-Water.

Stares-at-Nords...given how Argonians are given their Imperial names this one seems like it would fit most Argonians in Skyrim.

What names have you given your Argonian characters? What approach do you take to playing an Argonian in Skyrim, whether in terms of RP'ing, skill selection, play style, etc.?

I've really enjoyed swimming as an Argonian. I often travel by river.

lol I prefer werewolf travel.

On topic: I've been meaning to start an Argonian character for sometime. There are a few TES name generators online that seem to do a good job of producing lore friendly names for all the races in Tamriel. You should give one of them a try.

Argonian names I've used:

Warriors (my funny good main quest characters):
- Fish-Breath (my current character)
- Hides-His-Fear (my Morrowind & Oblivion character)

Assassins & Thieves (my serious evil characters):
- Strikes-From-Shadow
- Broken-Fang

I've always liked funny, unlikely to become hero characters, and an Argonian fits the role perfectly. Who was the Dunmers' Nerevarine hero in Morrowind? An Argonian! Who is the Nords' Dragonborn hero now? An Argonian. It's funny when something isn't what everyone expects.

My current character name (Fish-Breath) is a good name for a funny Argonian fisherman. I've heard it used as an insult. My main quest characters are always slow moving tank like characters. I prefer heavy armor and two-handed swords. While otherwise being kind hearted hero types the hilarious disadvantage of my main quest characters is that they're unfit. Hides-His-Fear looked like http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b148/ActionDragon/Oblivion/WhatAHero1.jpg. And Fish-Breath looks like http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b148/ActionDragon/Skyrim/Fish-Breath/Fish-BreathX2.jpg.
