I thought i bought the PREMIUM edition

Post » Sun Mar 06, 2011 1:12 pm

I shelled out more money for what clearly states on the box to be the premium edition. I rarely do that and only do it to reward companies that i support. Ive been playing the this companies games when they were upstarts putting out "over complicated" hardcoe games like daggerfall that was so far ahead of its time few knew about it. But you guys really messed me over a good one this time. By making sure i DONT have access to dlc you stuck it to me good. My premium edition is not the ultimate edition, or any other of the words you guys used to sell it to me. I really dont know what to do here, but honestly im sick and tired of nonsense like this from game companies.

So heres what im going to do.. You all can either refund me the extra money you bilked me out of (and im certain the decision for the dlc was made BEFORE the product ever hit the stores) or i intend to take my greivance to the next level. I am lucky enough to live in a state small enough that every single complaint sent the states attorny generals office of consumer affairs is actually investigated. they have a nice little website to make the beginning of the complaint slick and easy. Second i can, and, will file a small claims complaint for the $10 in court if the state attorny's lawyers and your attornies cannt come to some agreement.

You all can go right ahead and erase this post, but this is my first notice to you that ive had enough with game companies putting it to their customers. Broken games that take months to make playable. Taking money from companies like microsoft when WE are the people that buy your damn products. You can kiss my customer ship good bye, thats a given at this point. I really would like to find your companies address and mail you back every single game ive ever bought from you, even the ones on floppy disks!.

Want to know one of the reasons that i am soooo ticked off? ive been in the retail game business for 5 years now. I own my video game store. and I get to listen to people [censored], complain and try to return their products when they either dont work or companies pull shifty business like this. You poeple choose to shaft microsoft by release this game on steam and NOT GFWL and then you get into bed with them after? its sick, and its wrong and if you had not intention making my PREMIUM product truely premium, then you should stuck it on the damn box. This is false advertising and i may not be lawyer but even i have heard of antitrust laws. Whats one of the few companies in modern times to get investigated for anittrust? of yeah its your new buddy microsoft. great idea.

ps: you all have acces to my email from this forums registration. I expect to hear from you, but then again i realy dont. I will sue you for the ten dollars, and you might not care, but your products are off my store shelves.

Oh, another 'I bought the Collectors Edition, therefore I am entitled to _____' thread.

Seriously, if you bought the COLLECTORS edition, you bought the unique Fallout themed trinkets, which are exclusive to Collectors Edition owners.

Yes, and announced before it hit the stores as well.

I really would like to find your companies address and mail you back every single game ive ever bought from you, even the ones on floppy disks!.

It's listed on their http://www.gamesas.com/eng/contact.php

My premium edition is not the ultimate edition, or any other of the words you guys used to sell it to me.

There's the standard edition and the Collector's Edition which includes some extra swag (a short graphic novel, some playing cards, some poker chips, a making of DVD, and the platinum Luck 38 chip). I'm not sure what this "ultimate edition" is that you refer to although depending on where you pre-ordered the game you could get a bonus DLC.

I'm sorry that you're unhappy that the first FONV DLC is an XBox 360 exclusive. If you want to discuss the matter there's an active thread http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1143163-first-dlc-announced/ however threats of legal action are not appropriate on the forums.
