Thread to show off what mod combo you are using

Post » Wed Jun 20, 2012 9:43 am

Modding skyrim can totally change skyrim experience. Skyrim is a fun game, looking mod at Skyrim nexus or steam workshop can also be fun. Its alway fun to see what people has made, and what most people use.

This thread was created so we share a list of mode we are using, commentting on what other use, make suggestion, share your gameplay...

Here is my modlist:

Real Carriages
Detailed Mine Map Markers
Fall of the Space Core, Vol. 1
A Quality World Map
Colored Map Markers - Colored map markers Download with manager version
Complete Crafting Overhaul - Complete Crafting Overhaul 1-1-2
Enhanced Night Skyrim - Enhanced Night Skyrim v04 Aquamarine Galaxy
Glowing Ore Veins - Glowing Ore Veins 300 2_00
Skyrim Leveled items can level up Unique upgrade balanced - Unique Leveled Items upgrade v1dot6
SkyUI
Smithing Perks Overhaul
Unlimited Bookshelves - Unlimited Bookshelves 1-7
Unread Books Glow
Weapons and Armor Fixes
Dragonbone Weapons
Unoficial Skyrim Patch

Mod I have, but not alway eneblad, depend on which character:

Deadly Dragon
Immediate Dragons - Immediate_Dragons_V2

My mod combo is aiming at enhencing the original gameplay, whithout modifying the game mechanic. My goal is to play the original game as developper wanted it to be, with some enhencement, bug fix, with mod that don't unbalance the original gameplay. Most of the mod i use are user interface mod or bug fixe mod. I still will use some mod like Deadly dragon to boost a little the challenge, without changing the way the game was suppose to be. I also alway use official DLC.

If anyone know some mod that could suit my goal, feel free to suggest it to me. Currently, im looking at some house mod that wont be considered as cheated, preferably lore friendly.

Well, I'm still waiting for Wrye Bash's compatibility update for BOSS 2.0 to roll out officially and a couple other issues to clear up, so I am only using NMM to manage right now (sigh) and I can't capture my mod list like I can in Bash. Really, though, I'm still trying to get the game set up as I want it. In fact, I am working on extending the Hatsune Miku mod so that it is genuinely playable for character development. Since I do not create assets, I've run into a couple of interesting issues. Oh well. :)

Primary mods are:

DimonsUNP / CBBE (both slim... I switch back and forth)
Various outfits (mainly for the NPCs since my MikuMod has its own for the PC, of course)
Realistic Lighting
Frostfall
IMCN
Real Wildlife
WATER
Skyrim HD Textures
Fall of the Space Core (just throw him in a barrel :) )
couple of archery tweaks

I need Bash to make my own sorting patch, too. Don't like the modded ones I have. :(

I have a tendency to prefer the small mods that make a big difference to game play, or change game mechanics so that they make more sense or are less clunky. I probably won't touch anything that looks like an overhaul until patching stops (Deadly Dragons and SCA are exceptions) or when the major toolset issues are fixed (Navmesh being the main one).
