Threads of yore

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 10:04 pm

Keith Richards falls out of a tree would have to be my favorite. Also amusing were the how do you picture your funeral, which moderator would you like to give you a sweaty spanking, and the epically hilarious thread by a member unamed involving his superior intelligence, brilliant personality, modesty, and lack of respect from the ladies. Best troll thread ever.

Bo Rai Chu admitting 'she' was a man, and the keening death-wail of a thousand nerd boners. Man that was a fun day

Who remembers the 'Helped I'm trapped in the house because of angry bees' thread, or something like that?

Just call those annoying neighbours to come over...

That thread was golden.

The "perfect crime" thread. I believe it eventually got derailed into being something about cannibalism, which then spun off into its own thread. I, uh, had absolutely nothing to do with that turn of events. At all. YOU HAVE NO PROOF!

I have to agree it seems like the forumers have gotten a lot more boring or I have gotten much more mature and I need more food for thought and think most of these things as boring I think the latter.

I'd like to see all those threads mentioned revived (same crazy subject, not the same thing.)

No, they have got more boring. Occasional fun threads make up for it, but most of it seems to be the same six threads in different permutations. We used to have those as well, but we had intelligent threads on top of that.

I know personally I would like to have threads on deep disscussion on things that we can talk about like human emotion , how people act and why and etc but I think if I make a thread about that people will ether think " Oh intellectualism bad" Personally I don't think we have a fanbase for highly intellectual discussions. The type of topics I am talking about are like this http://www.youtube.com/user/theRSAorg#p/u/249/pQItB5uoiHI

Yep, I've been meaning to update that now for a number of decades. Maybe during the summer! Hopefully. For now though, that's a pretty good archive for the timespan it covers I think.

I think my favorite (after the Epic Thread obviously) was definitely the Strawberry thread. That was just hilarious.

Whoah those are pretty funny. My favorite from them all is probably the "Strange symbol" thread.

Let me rephrase that we might have the fanbase but no need for talking about it. And heck I joined a year or so after you anyhow.
