I've been replaying FO3 this last week and I have to say that 3 Dog drives me nuts.

Sure, Three Dog would fit in New Vegas nicely. More specific, I wan't to recruit him for the Wang Dang Atomic Tango quest.

Last I heard of 3 dog, Dogmeat and his two girlsfriends where snacking on him....

one of the first mods I god was the "more where this came from" mod that added like 100 new songs to the list and shut him up.

if im one of the developers of the game i wont bring 3dog back, a logical reason for sure, new games should have new scenarios and setups, and the gamers who previously played fo3 should expect more and it will sell more. So 3dogs contract is only in fo3.

I suppose I'm in the minority here....and I'l probably get flamed for this BUT........I too miss Three Dog, at least his commentary had purpose, it had reason, it had more than just one bit of news repeated over and over (maybe just my imagination) but I always thought of 3 dog as the closest to a preacher in the Wasteland you could find. I want a mod to get rid of crappy a*s mister new vegas. I hate him.If I had to choose between 3 dog and Mr. new Vegas I choose 3 dog.

All he was was the same info over and over again. So annoying! I hate when I am almost done the game and I talked to him dozens of time he still goes on as if my leaving the vault just happned. I am not saying Mr.New Vegas is any better. Idea of talk radio in fallout good but till the Devs can make it so that the person talking updates info and does not repeat him/her self a million times it will keep svcking and be very annoying.

For crying out loud, if you don't like Three Dog, or his NV replacemenmt, just turn your radio off. Turn on your CD player instead.

I never had much of a problem with Three Dog, but thought that he needed better dialogue refinement. During my more evil playthroughs, he would tell everyone what a bad person I was, then mention some nice thing I had done (because I didn't have the stomach for the alternative).

What is not to love about Best friend, Tabitha and her battle cattle discussion group. I love Black Mountain Radio.

We cannot put ThreeDog in New Vegas - it would violate the copyright rules on using content from one game into another.

But aside from that I whole-heartedly agree - Three Dog > Mr. New Vegas ANY DAY.

I loved 3 Dog, and I loved how I became the centerpiece of his show as I helped the Capital Wasteland fighting the good fight. But Mr New Vegas is a good fit too, just not a personal herald like 3 Dog was. I crack up every time I am near a radio and he is talking about the Black Mountain broadcasts, "Less for outcasts, more for weirdos."

I think this is a moot point. A bit like beating a dead horse. They are not going to add 3dog to NV. Some skilled modder might work it out or at the very least a mod might bring the songs over from F3 but as I recall OP said he is on Xbox, I am on PS3 so we aren't going to get anything unless they add some songs in a DLC. Can we get over this now?

Mr. New Vegas is boring, Three Dogs voice pressance was great.. I'm actually playing FO3 now lol.
