Three months later - are you still playing?

Post » Sun Jun 10, 2012 10:36 am

I can't remember if I got the game on the 11th or 12th but I've been playing since. Now I have two copies: 360 and PC.

I still haven't completed the main quest on any character xDD

I over did it when it first came out and stopped for a month or so, just playing it casual now as I wait on mods being released

Played almost every day since release here. What I find most shocking is that with mods the game just keeps getting better. Several of them give the game a completely different feel. From epic battles to new magic spells and even adding new perk trees (unarmed!) if anyone is playing on the pc and hasn't checked out any mods yet... I'd urge you to try some.

Still playing, still finding new areas. Came across a nice hidden valley in winterhold earlier. Just got married to Janessa, we're about to go on an expedition down blackreach.

Got it on 11/11/11 and I'm still playing. I still haven't even beat the main quest because I'm doing so many other things.

I got it on release day and I'm playing it right now. But I've taken several sizable breaks in between while waiting for patches.

Still playing. I got it on 11/11, but didn't start playing for a few days (with a week though as I recall).

But I think Skyrim has been the main video game I've been playing since it's release.

Yes, but now my play has evolved a little bit away from 'playing the game' towards 'playing WITH the game' as mods and the quest for a 'perfect build' has moved to the forefront.

I play it less and less. Mostly because some quests still have crippling bugs that halt their progression, partly because it's gotten kind of boring and turned into a game of going down the frivolous quest checklist. Combined with overall weak enemies, lack of high level content, and no meaningful loot...it kind of lacks a carrot to keep one's goals moving.

Didn't get mine on the release day - waited until 1.3. BUT, still playing. :3

(Although, my time with Skyrim has been split with Skyward Sword, Dragon Age, and Harvest Moon: MFoT...it's like I have videogame ADD...)

Waiting for certain things to get fixed or improved by mods. Mainly controls, UI, and lighting. Mods have improved them to some degree, but not enough for me. Lighting will be an ambitious project since the way the game handles it by default is so fake, you can't just mess with light values you have to move, remove, add lighting to appropriate sources.

I took a short break during the holidays just because I wasn't home so much and when I was I wanted to play one of my newer games. However I started playing again last month and intend on playing the game for years to come.

Started on day one and still playing. If I start to lose interest in a character I'm playing it's time to start a new one. I never use one character to join all the different guilds or quests in an Elder Scrolls game.

Got in on release, played 190 hours, then stopped playing it on the 16th December, and played the free month on Star Wars The Old Republic. Patch 1.4 has made me return and has sorted out some of the CTD I was experiencing (Jorrvaskar) and now I can't wait to see what mods will be released, and the DLC.

It has dominated my time in front of the computer since release. Now that the Creation Kit is out, playtime might be limited slightly, of course

Still playing quite a lot. The power supply on my gaming PC died Friday and the new one won't be here until Tuesday. My back up PC can't play the game and I'm having serious withdrawals!
