It wasnt funny for me when a spider came bursting out of its pod and to have it glide at me like those hoppers from the legend of zelda and then explode killing me instantly

Hear you there, but the fun of getting back. lol The white ones, when you kill them, leave a red trail. If you set fire to the red trail, back up in a hurry.

I have the dlc and only played it for a few hours because im playing far cry 3 suprisingly a very fun game.but from what im hearing this seems to be a really good dlc.though im not to sure about dragon riding and respec but im sure after a while ill grow to love it....maybe.

To me, the re-spec is fine for those who have 100 in all their skills. I did not use it. The dragon riding took some time to learn. It is not free-roaming. They controls are listed in the help menu, and after an hour of figuring them, it was not so bad. It was worse for those giants and mammoths and for that bunch of bandits. lol Sometimes the controls do not work, and sometimes they do. Most of the time they do. But I rather run and I have had my fun with the dragon riding. After all. The DOVahKiiN is supposed to kill dragons.

But all in all I just love the new dlc.

I have a question about the respec? Can you put points into other skills or do you just relocate them in the same skill tree that you took them from?

You reset/regain all the perks from a selected tree, that costs one dragon soul, then you can use them how you wish. You can put them back into the same tree or other trees, they just get added to your available perk number.

Adding the ability to craft all the different type of spiders was a nice touch. Still have to try using the dwaven oil to make and oil spider. The mind control spider is my fav.

I am not sure for I did not make that one. I made ones called exploding fire and cloaked flame spider, at least I think they are called that.

I really like how my characters are so i dont think ill be useing the respec on them though i will be using that ogma ifinium glitch to get to 81 so i can fight that freaking dragon and get the achievent for it.god knows i dont have the time that i used to.

white ridge barrow, you will need a variety of things, as you make them you will get the recipies for them. You will find a journal there that helps you start out.

Main components:
Albino spider pods (damaged ones work too - different effect), gems (flawless add a different touch), adding salt pile changes things, soul gems for mind control, dwarven oil for oil spiders. That is all i found by trial and error. I thought for sure there would be an ash spider using a heart stone but no luck.

Wait? Are these spells you learn?

They are recipies, much like making potions. I took the exploding flame spider, ruby and damaged albino spider pod, and addedd salt to it, and it became a cloaked flaming spider that gives constant damage while the exploding one did just that. Explode
