It can be a life-saver in some thought situations, it helped me when I tested an archer.

It helps here and there, but svcks up the stamina and really does not with multiple mobs.

Makes lining up shots easier for me when the targets are at a distance.

I've only got one perk in time slow so far, but that's because my archery isn't up enough to get the second one.

If you're going to use bows, then it's definitely worth it.

Nope, not at all. I hear it drains your stamina rather quickly and takes forever to zoom in.

I hear the first rank is good, but don't do both.

No, it's stupid. In Oblivion, I'd spend my time ADSing and calculating a nice longshot. In Skyrim, with that perk I can't anymore because now ADSing requires stamina. IIRC, when you run out you stop ADSing.

IMO it is one of the most powerful and fun perks in the game, absolutely essential for anyone who is playing an archer.

If your stamina is high enough, you can fire off a dozen arrows and obliterate a crowd of advancing enemies before they even get close to you. Works very well combined with the Power Shot, which staggers the enemies you can't take down in one shot.

I used it for a bit on my archer and it became annoying. After a while you get use to the fast action shots and i find it would actually be easier to zoom in on my shot and not be bothered by the slow time. I say spend those two points somewhere more useful.

I found this one to be a game changer, right up there with the Assassin's Blade perk in terms of usefulness. I'm surprised that others didn't find it to be as helpful.

It doesn't drain your stamina very quickly if you draw the bow, then use slow time zoom, fire, then draw, then slow time, etc. I suppose it helped that I was playing an "glass cannon" assassin / stealth character, with all my points into Stamina and nothing into health, so I had around 300 Stamina or so by the time I got this one.

If you want to be insanely overpowered then take it. Combined with a high sneak ability it makes the game very easy.

I love them. Makes it much easier to hit a fast-moving target like a dragon mid-flight.

It was ok at start, but became obsolete once i became good at judging the arrow curve / distance of target.

The first perk is pretty useful. The second was a mistake.
After doing a lot of archery though, you get just as good without it. I don't use it at all anymore, but this may be because I'm stuck with the second perk and I hate it. I used the first one all the time.

if you use that perk with the perk that makes you pull the bow string back faster you will be a death machine. Ex: if I'm sneaking around and say, 3 bandits are closing in on my position I can slow the time down and take them all down extremely fast.

Pretty much exactly what BootySweat said.

I haven't tried this, but I imagine if you have 100% fortify Destruction and the dual effect Enchanting perk, you could enchant your bow with enough stamina absorb (plus whatever damage effect you prefer) to negate the stamina drain, or in the least offset it.

First one I find to definitely be worth it - I don't spend much time lining up the shots, but it lets me just tweak it into the right spot.

I'm finding problems with using the slow time perk in archery to 50 percent. Works OK at 25, but at 50 I actually miss because of unpredictable nature of target's movement. Maybe it's just me, but it makes it harder. I've tried this with three characters and next time I'm only taking the perk to the first level. (25 percent)

I think, it is a pretty good perk when it comes to targets rushing in on you. I realized, there's a glitch occuring, when you are zoomed in and don't release the button before you nock the next arrow to the bow. If you don't zoom out beforehand, the arrow can get nocked to the bow in slow motion, while still using up stamina... just make sure you zoom out first, then you can virtually take out a rabbit turning on its heels.
