I thought I'd make a thread about this. I love this series but I've only played the first 2 games. I never played Future's Perfect. TS2 is my favorite one and here's a list of my likes.

Main Game levels: I love the Siberia and the Toyko Blade Runnerish level.
Favorite Character to Play as: SGT. Snow or the guys who where the Balaclava.
Favorite Character to play aginst:
Venus Starr.
The Impersonator (the guy who looks like Elvis).
R-107 or R-108 (The guy who where's spandex and cardboard and thinks he's a robot).
The Snowman (I love it when he get's hit by the flamethrower).
The Gingerbread Man.
The Crockomire.
Favoite Game Mode: Virus.
Favorite Weapon: Minigun, Double Barrel Shotgun x2 and Rocket Luncher.

I considered buying these games years ago for my Gamecube but ultimately passed them up for other things. The more I look back on them the more I think I missed out on a gem.

I had a lot of fun TS2 virus on the ranch-like level (don't remember what it was called). Not a bad game...

If you have a PS2, Gamecube or original X-Box you could probably still get it at either Game X Change (or if you live in a country that don't have one of those stores) or anyother game store that still sells used games or you can find it online at Amazon.

Such an underrated game, every aspect about it was entertaining. I love how it includes a mapmaker. It had a great vareity of playable characters and weapons. The soundtrack was also good. If you can get your hand on future perfect (third installment to the series) then I say go for it, the story was good.

Hehehe

Favoite Game Mode: Virus.
Oh definitely. Great on Mexican Mission. Just think how that'd go if the game supported 16 actual live players.

Favorite Weapon: Minigun, Double Barrel Shotgun x2 and Rocket Luncher.

Why settle for one minigun when you can wield 2?(Only in TS1) But more seriously. Bricks all the way.

Robofish was always my favorite character because http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pozlp_wnkRk is always classy

I only played TS: Future Perfect but it was probably one of my favorite games of all time and this from someone who generally hates FPS, especially linear FPS.

Ah.

Timesplitters.

*cue Morgan Freeman voiceover*

It was Chrismas time, and the year was 2000. All I wanted was a Playstation 2, but deep inside I knew it wasn't to be. They had sold out across the country - a fact I had come to accept. So I awoke that Christmas morning feeling happy, and hopeful for what the day would bring. I had put aside my desire for a PS2 for now.

Our family shared our gifts, and when the last piece of wrapping paper had fallen to the floor, nobody was disappointed. But the best was yet to come. My father left the room, only to return with another present. I tore the paper off, and saw a glimpse of blue underneath. My heart stood still. It couldn't be.

It was. A PS2. The one thing I wanted more than anything. And one game. Timesplitters. I had never heard of it, but it looked interesting.

*end Morgan Freeman voice because I'm bored now*.

Yeah, so, played a lot of TS, it was awesome, four way multitap games with friends where AWESOME! Also, map editor was win.

All time Favorite FPS game in the history of FPS games. The multiplayer system is the best I have ever seen. Being able to play on it with bots with you and just one friend was awesome. TS2 is definitely the best game out of the series. I haven't played Future's Perfect, but I plan on getting it since I saw it at a used game store.

TS2 was fantastic. Only thing that makes it hard to come back to now is that horrible aiming system (aiming reticule moves around a bit instead of staying fixed in the center of the screen). Really wish those games had come out for PC, just think of the modding potential.

Can't you change that in the options? I'm pretty sure I remember there being a fixed reticule option.

I looked pretty hard and never found anything, but it's entirely possible I'm just blind.

I guess it's just TS3 that had it, I just checked my TS2 game and I couldn't find it either. But then again, I don't remember aiming with the reticule being all that useful in that game anyway so I probably never noticed.

Hehehe

The funny thing as to why I like her is sometimes when you kill her she "comes" if you know what I mean . She seems to do it more often if you use explosives but its a totally random sound she makes----but damn it's funny specially with the look on her face, I mean it's her regular face she has but it's just funny as hell when she makes the sound (it sounds like Ooooooooounggggggg ) and dies she almost looks satisfied lol.

I always loved the gangster-era Chicago level in (I think it was) TS2. That was probably my favorite of all the games' single-player levels.

I also loved multi-player in Future Perfect when we'd spawn out exclusively with flare guns. It was stupidly fun trying to hit each other with those horribly inaccurate things . I really hope a 4th one is announced soon.

Maybe they'll release an HD collection for the PS3. I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

I dug this artical on TS4 ----> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TimeSplitters_4 pity really I would love for them to continue the series. Also I agree they should do a TS 1-3 HD collection of the PS3 and/or 360, hell I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

On September 5, 2011 in an article by review website Cinema Blend, Lead Future Perfect programmer Tristan Reidford revealed that the game was indefinitely postponed. "Future Perfect didn't perform as well as expected in the shops. Although fun to make, without stellar sales figures a further TimeSplitters game was going to be a tough one to sell to publishers. It's a hard game to summarise in an easy sentence like 'car modding racing game' or 'third-person stealth game'."
It's a shame publishers don't want to risk an innovative game, and instead want big sellers that fit neatly into generic categories.

TS2 is easily the best console FPS game i've played.

It's a pity TS4 is looking less and less likey; the franchise has far too much potential to just fizzle out.

I agree and if they are not going to add anymore games to the series then they should at least make a TS HD collection for the PS3 and 360.
