We’re still working on it. Should have more information to share soon.

@I’m Serious, the blog post says “Beginning in January” not “Beginning of January.

Not really much of a topic really, its just to keep you guys in your pants for a bit longer without spamming the forums about news on the CK or 1.4

Yeah, this is a tease, but it's something to chew on.

I have my mod ready in text files, pdfs, and another world building program....for now.....

But, all I can say is.....it's all good. I can wait. I am playing the game, and getting good information, and good quest ideas / companion ideas / and
great stuff that I will be sharing with the community.

And really, everything is ready to go..... If the CK is somewhat like Oblivion or even Fallout / etc......it will be good.

Lookn' forward to the steam integration as well.......but, I find it hard to believe being better than nexus....might be...who knows.

The more hardcoe Skyrim fans will probably stick to Nexus while the newbies and casuals will be on Steam.. that is just a theory though

Depends on how "Integrated" it is and whether using the CK requires using that integrated function.

There are multiple components here. The Creation Kit component and the Steam Workshop component. If folks want to upload their mods to other modding sites, they’ll still have that capability.

I don't see Bethesda wanting to limit Modding and what can be done with them. Restricting folks to one distribution platform would be counter to that philosophy.

Yes, because Bethesda qstaff knows where the mods normally go.........however, steam might actually be workable, we just don't know that yet.

Most pro-modders will be announcing on mod forums here , I am sure. And most like to make their mods "known"....

Not sure if steam will be problematic for the masses and masses of newbies......(no offense to anyone here).....newbies are always welcome :)

But hopefully we will get some good integration and download capabilities (however, I would hate to browse the tech forums on steam for help installing mods....)
