My Nord warrior - Ebony Mail, Gauntlets and Boots, Dragonplate Helmet
My Altmer Conjurer - Ulfric's Clothes (enchanted and renamed "Fragswag"), Daedric Boots, Daedric Gauntlets, and Nahkriin
My Dunmer Vampire - Full Glass minus the helmet with one of those gold and emerald circlets

The Nord basically looks like Shao Kahn, the idea behind the Conjurer was a still-living dragon priest and the Vampire? He's just baller.

IMHO the studded and scale armours (without helmet) are one of the most beutiful and still funcitonally looking armours ever, both for male and female character. Definitely my favourite ones, but to everyone his/her own, beuty is in the eye of the beholder!

I stopped spending perks in armor back in January. I mix and match Heavy, Lt, Clothes and Robes. It all depends on what's in season for my character. :bunny:

I find this funny as this is exactly what I was thinking for my vampire redguard.

If you're an Archer then Light Armor(For Wind Walker). If you're a stealthy dude then Light armor, or no armor.

If you're a pure Mage. No armor.

If you're a Spell Sword then Light Armor, or Heavy armor.

In the end it just comes down to preference.

I make my Nord wear Blades armor, Blades gauntlet, Wolf boots, and Orcish helmet ( helmet only for big fight ).
My follower Jenassa - Blades armor, Linwe's gauntlet, Leather boots, and Mourner's hat ( switch the hat to Leather helmet for big fight ).

Blades Armor, full set, enhanced as far as her smithing skill allows, for my Nord. Maybe I give wolf armor a try when she joins the Companions, just for a change. My next step, however, is to find her a set of Ancient Nord, but she will mostly use it for show.

My Breton practically lived in her Nightingale Armor, with a circlet instead of the hood (I don't like helmets/hoods that cover the face, but she did use the hood in combat).

Steel Plate + Dragon Priest Mask. The design markings on the Dragon Priest Mask (and cowl) match the design markings on the Steel Plate - looks bloody awesome together.

My nord wears the Helm of Yngol, Ebony Mail, and the Stormcloak Officer Boots and Bracers. He looks truly menacing.

Early on i wear whatever's available to suite my needs but as my character grows i usually go for form over function and try to find a style that best suites them, be it mixing armor or wearing only clothes

Krosis, TG armour, Nightingale boots and shrouded gloves (DB) That is what my stealth character wears. My other character wears Banded Iron when I start, moving on to steel plate (then give it to my follower) my follower either wears that or ebony. They always have to be a knight in shiny armour. I prefer wearing Daedric, I use magic so those spiky gauntlets look great. I'm planning on crafting dragonscale for my stealth character. I might make a evil Altmer Mage who wear Thalmor robes on the move then swaps to Daedric in Battle. If I chose dawnguard it will be on my good Orc, if I chose Vampires it will be the Altmer. Or my Orc will change from Neutal to badish, or il just scrap his backstory.

erm beneficially for magic i reckon archmages robes with diadem of the savant along with either ebony boots and gauntlets or dragonscale boots and gauntlets. Along with your own enchanments on the boots and gauntlets, you can have infinite magicka in certain spell areas depending on your enchanting skills. For example, i have a mage character that can cast all together 112% or so less magicka cost to destruction and restoration spells. Awesome when you have the Lightning storm spell stood on the spot without magic even been touched.
