Hey!
I am a warrior on level 43, and are thinking of do the thief guild quest.
I have low perks on the stealth, pickpocketing.
What can i do get fast level up in stealth and pickpocketing?
Must i take the game on difficult hard to level up faster?

You dont need good thief skills to do the thieves guild, and I dont think hard difficulty would make it go faster. Thieves guild does have lockboxes to practice on but I never used so Im not sure if you can recycle them over and over.

You need muffle for both skills. So get a muffle item or spell first and foremost. Pull off your heavy armor (unless you have the weightless perk) and go around sneaking and pick pocketing stuff at night. The higher the value of the item, the more skill exp you get for it. So stealing jewelry is typically best and almost everyone carries a ring or a necklace on their person.

Ripped from the UESP Wiki...

There are many ways to level up the Sneak skill:
  • Any successful http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Stealth#Sneak_Attack will raise your sneak skill and to a much lesser extent the weapon skill used. This can be used against http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Essential_NPCs to repeatedly level your skill. This is especially easy to use during the tutorial as your guide is both essential and will stop and wait at several points throughout. It also applies to any NPCs in the middle of a scripted action that they are waiting on you to complete an action, such as in the Mage College introduction quest.
    • You could also continuously raise dead or summon a creature and sneak attack them. Dremora Lords are especially good for this as they always appear facing away from you and won't turn around without extended provocation.
    • Shadowmere is also an excellent target for this as he won't turn hostile and has very high HP and regeneration.
  • A much slower way to level sneak, but still effective, is simply to be in stealth mode around any hostile NPC. This also includes non-hostile NPCs with owned items nearby, the most obvious of which is shopkeepers.
    • The sickly soldier in http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Temple_of_Kynareth in http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Whiterun is an easy target for this as he does not move.

If you really need to level your stealth that bad then go sneak attack the greybeards at high hrothgar over and over until it's up sufficiently... Pick Pocketing is easy, just start doing it... Steal low value and weight stuff first and work your way up to the hard stuff... If you want to avoid the bounty you can just save before you pick people's pockets and reload if they catch you... It's probably the easiest skill to level by legitimately playing... In all honesty though you don't need good sneak skill or pickpocketing skill for the thieves guild questline unless that's how you want to RP your character...

i found it somewhat easy to level up sneaking near Whiterun. go to the meadery near Whiterun and just sneak-follow on of the guards that patrols there.. they dont get mad anyway if they detect you XP

Shamelessly copied and pasted from a thread yesterday...

What helps me lockpick (besides my uncanny ability to predict sweet spots) is wearing equipment. The Thieves Guild Bracers makes Lockpicking 15% easier and I also picked up a Necklace of Lockpicking which makes it 20% easier. So overall it is 35% easier for me to pick locks. And remember to check Alchemy shops because sometimes they sell Lockpicking potions, which really helps with Lockpicking.

EDIT: I just dug up this old video. From when I started on Fallout 3 to today on Skyrim, this Lockpicking Guide has never failed me. Skyrim added a few small tweaks to the system, but it still works for me. :)

For some reason, I cant seem to make a proper link in this new interface, so here is the bare URL:
