Tom Green Is Jack Walters!?

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 5:55 am

http://img257.imageshack.us/my.php?image=tomjack.jpgI was watching Tom on Celebrity Apprentice where I thought to myself "Wow, he looks... familier, like someone I know." and it snapped in my head. http://images.eonline.com/eol_images/Entire_Site/20080902/300.green.tom.090208.jpg.http://photos-597.friendster.com/e1/photos/79/50/12220597/465650695l.jpg just like Jack does.http://img373.imageshack.us/my.php?image=jackqp0.jpg, that'll still take some time.So what do you guys reckon? Tom Green would be a good Jack Walters lookalike if he shaved that beard off?

Plus he'd make a good act-a-like for when Walters goes insane

The actors; Tim Curry, Gary Sinese, and Dieter Laser resemble Jack. Peter Lorre, too... r.i.p.

Hmm, yeah. If they tweaked his hair every so slightly, and gave him a waistcoat and a syringe of morphine...

Yep, definitely, but he also has a kind of Innsmouth taint about him with those bulgy eyes

We call him Dr Shiny, becuase he has a serious moisture gleam, like as if he is covered in a thin film of slime, he is supposedly a shoggoth which forces itself into the shape of a human, but it takes a great deal of concentration and occasionally has to revert back to its more shapeless state, and also because shoggoths don't have a rigid bone structure he keeps all his limbs and torso in shape using what looks like orthopeadic devices. Some Shoggoths are very dumb but some from a different class are actually very intelligent, and he is one of these, but shoggoths are slave beings and not their own masters, so the real question is whom this particular Shoggoth serves, possibly a Marsh matriarch :)

nope unfortunately a huge asylum part of the game-play was cut very early on in the project, but we were going to use some of it again in destinys end, but again, that never materialized :( My friend Sin, who is a fantastically talented character artist, did some awesome concpets for him too, I wish I could find them to link to.

Adroitly designed.Tentacles should always look like they just finished murdering someone, and are about to murder again. -Which your depiction captures. Add sunglasses and a beatles-wig, and he could pass as Steve Ditko's original Dr. Otto (Octopus) Octavious.

The way I pictured him was that he would be able to break down into loose tentacles, which could slither over terrain and then reform into one being, which is eerily like a premonition of what RE5 did with the one 'slug' (for lack of better description) character. IN my concept I show him untangling, and how his face comes together again :D I still want to model and animate that for my demo reel one of these days.

I think maybe it's http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0000242/ that stars as Jack in the version of "Dark Corners: The Movie" (oy, I wish!) that plays inside my head when I listen to the soundtrack or hear "Smile at me baby".For some reason I think it's Bruce Campbell who plays Gilman the hotellier. Also, Sonofamortician, as ever, your illustrations are truly startling. :)Alli

Why thank you very kindly :DMark Wahlberg actually would be perfect, he got the right eyes, and after 'four brothers', and especially 'Max Payne' movie he got the right kind acting background too.I always picutered Powers Boothe as Gillman, his voice is exactly the same, in fact I wonder if he didn't do the voice-over, will have to check. One of my personal favourite typecast villains have been Ian McShane for a long time too, maybe as one of the Marsh brothers.
