Too short

Did anyone else think HH was way too short? I've beaten it and got all the achievements under 3 hours. I'm kind of disappointed.

Finished the game in 7 hours, was too large for me, too large for a DLC (no complaining here)

Actually I thought it was a fairly nice sized dlc. I started at 8 recorded it and stopped at 8:30 started it up again at 9:30 played till 1:45 so.I got... about 5 hrs and 15 mins of gameplay without finishing all quests and exploring the whole.map

It's short and seemed a tad lacking.

without spoilers.. Mr.3 hour , you just ran through it from Quest to quest, didn't you? Did you find ANY of the special weapons/items/spoofs/easter eggs?

Played and got all achievements in less then a typical day for me though.. very short, especially compared to DM's 'storyline'

Kinda... empty feeling.

I started a fresh game and ran right to the point and started up, it was 'fun' but not challenging at all really, never died. Seem to be missing storyline plots too, didn't feel very "Fallout"

i think the person who said it was too large was kidding. why would you want to spend money on something and not get more areas, more quests. etc.

I have been exploring alot so I have not been bored but it seems way to short from what people are saying.

I'm getting the feeling that most of these guys who keep complaining about that dlc "is too short" probably didn't check the caves or the lookouts or actually explored the park. It's a beautiful park and I am liking what I am seeing so far. I do wish there were more weapons and that the map was generally bigger, but I'm still impressed. The dlc is easily bigger than the Pitt, Operation Anchorage, and Mothership Fetus. I will admit that I really liked Dead Money, although it did have some annoying parts, Broken Steel (because the last quest was awesome) and Point Lookout. So far, I think the DLC is better than Dead Money, but then again both DLCs are completely different and I'm sure those of you who have actually played both add-ons would agree with me. And to those of you who feel the story is "rushed" or that it svcks, I must say that two of the Fallout 3 DLC completely lacked a story, the Pitt and Point Lookout's stories were both short and lacking, and to be honest I didn't really see a great story in Fallout 3 in general. The story in Fallout 3 wasn't all that impressive, considering it basically revolved around you and Project Purity and I didn't find spending half of the game at Jefferson Memorial to be all that great. What I'm saying is, if you feel Honest Hearts' story is lacking or "rushed", then you should contend that it sure beats the hell out of Fallout 3. The usual flamers will probably still come on here and whine that they [censored] up and did the dlc in "thirty minutes", which all I can say to them is don't [censored] it again. It appears (in my opinion) that the flamers or "critics" of the dlc on this forum are few and the reason we keep seeing these rant threads is because that small group of people keep on posting on new threads. I have come to expect this on every forum nowadays, because the haters of any game feel the need to come onto the forums to blast the game and complain and all that [censored]. Sigh D;

Let′s just say it′s a tricky beginning.
Never Rush Guns Blazing Into ZION.
:brokencomputer:

One of the big parts in Fallout, EXPLORING (shooting Tribals comes second.)
So if you don′t take ur time in ZION, then u may not even see
The Right Hand of The Lord. :gun:
BUT you will have a Nice Canyon Map, right.
and Make Gen.CUSTER Proud of YOU MY SON!!!

It was short, but I enjoyed it. It could have had more quests to do, now there really isn't any reason to go back though other than to see if the White Legs respawn so I can make a lot of cash from their weapons.

Well said! I found the DLC quite long and satisfying with a good story and lootables. I think I found a few easter eggs but not them all, my fav so far is mentioned by Follows-Chalk, when he talks about singing XD

three hours is reasonable, it's not like your first playthrough was the 10 minute frag fest some are experiencing. :P

I haven't finished but from initial exploring my guess is it's just the like original game.

If you focus on the quest marker/doing the quests, you can run through that part fairly quickly (altho I think 3-4 hrs. for a DLC isn't bad, myself). If you ignore the quest marker and explore a bit on your own first, then start doing quests, then explore more nooks & crannies, and so on, it'll be a little longer (maybe 7-10 hrs unless you REALLY like taking your time, then maybe even longer). I mean, how long do ppl expect the DLC to be? It's not a new game. It's not even a true expansion.

Now, if one doesn't like the story/characterization in the DLC & wish they'd been "deeper", that's something different. Pure time-wise...for $10 if I get at least 4-5 hrs I'm fine with that.

I felt the main story of the DLC was a tad on the short side, but I'm withholding my full opinion until I explore Zion much further.

What I will touch on is the DLC items you obtain at the end, it didn't feel very satisfying to get all the unique items and weapons at the end of the DLC in a container. A couple things would have been cool, but I think that items like the unique 1911 should have to be located or obtained by the user their self.

I beat it after nine hours I think, it was really good and the Survivalist kept eating me time up- but it was worth it.

Also, I found a hollowed-out rock near a ridiculously high and hard to reach place; go figure.

Almost all, you can't get the Free-Faction Ranger Armor unless you find it in-game.

yeah, I like everything about this DLC except the length. It is bit short. but then again, this is only 10 bucks, it is wrong to expect shivering isle size with only 10 bucks :)

Ran me about eight hours which is about how long Dead Money took me to finish. I hadn't even found the last cache so there are obviously at least a few things I haven't found yet.
I would prefer for it to have more to it but I certainly can't complain that I got a full work day's worth of time out of the cost of two beers at the bar.

Side/backstory you can discover if you care enough to explore a bit is pretty satisyingly disturbing.

and, yeah, container was a bit much for the RPG nerd in some of us. I'm sure it'll help appease the xbox crowd, but being flat out given that unique 1911 (among other things) without having to get creative on how you obtain it isn't nearly as satisfying as lifting Maria.
