In many ways bethesda is rediculous. There attention to detail in oblivion blew me away fallout 3 was so good that i cant finish this sentance. but theres plenty of games that dont freeze all the time. So no matter how good your games are i cant spend 300$ on 5 buggy games released in 2011. All i have left to say is Im not buying another game for more then 10 used thats made by bethesda. oh ya and mass effect 3 will be dope with the bonus that that company (EA) pretends to care about us. Well, Hunted is made by inXile entertainment and Bethesda is simply publishing it.

I'm not sure what your issue is with Bethesda... Fallout: NV (Obsidian made it & it was published via Bethesda)? Brink (also another title they just published) lag
impatience?

I could understand major annoyance with Fallout: NV (I haven't purchased it as such), but if this is coming off of Brink . . . I'd say there's some impatience
there. Dragon Age 2 / Mass Effect 2 (PS3) are still both waiting on a fair amount of 'fixes' for audio-syncs/graphic issues/quest issues/bugs which are
about on par in scope with the lag in Brink disturbing immersion.

With Hunted, I'm more concerned that I haven't seen enough 'new' footage on the game despite it being so close to release. But a lot can come out yet, honestly.

As for your approach, well, It's wise to be cautious and prudent.

I don't know about EA pretending to care about anyone. Given how rushed Dead Space 2, Dragon Age 2, and the Mass Effect 2 (PS3 version) were . . .
They seem far more openly business minded and cut throat than Bethesda. Especially with the announce of Dragon Age 3 already being worked on despite
the mixed feelings about DA 2 by the community.

regardless of who developed the games the problems are still there and idk about ps3 but the 360 version of mass effect2 is amazing and i havent had a bug in my days. And EAT makes mostly good games. although i dont like games releases being pushed back i would prefer it then low quality games.

All games have problems. Fallout: New Vegas is a well-documented train wreck (for some). Brink has much milder issues
that are likely going to be patched over quickly (lag/AI). I'm enjoying it. Though, I wouldn't touch Fallout: NV ever unless I heard
pages of fans saying they fixed it completely.

However, saying all five games are going to be buggy when they're coming from different
development companies tends to be a bit of a stretch.

Again with EA's published works...

The 360 version of ME 2 also had some glitches / bugs that were never fixed. Just like Dragon Age Origins. Dragon Age 2 is a big example of a very, very glitchy product with game-breaking
bugs across multiple consoles from EA/Bioware, however. If you check Bioware's social forums you'll see a long list of complaints / bug reports.

I'm not advocating blind really devoted fan/fangirl support for any publishing/gaming company. I just think you're being unfair to Hunted in assuming it's going to have major issues from the get go. And while it would be nice if games were held back to maintain their quality there is the whole matter of business to be considered, so it isn't going to be happen. A gamer just has to be more careful and really learn about what games they're going to play.

It's funny that you bring up Mass Effect, I have a computer that can max out the DX9 graphics options of Crysis at 1280x960 but I'm forced to play ME at nearly minimum graphical settings. If I don't the game crashes frequently and it's possible to get through any cut scenes - and even as it the game rarely goes more than an hour without crashing my graphics driver (which is fully updated).

FONV does have problems, and odd ones at that since some people experience virtually no problems and some have significant problems - this isn't uncommon on PCs with their variable hardware configurations but it isn't supposed to happen on consoles as their hardware is largely uniform. I'm not going to say that Bethesda or Obsidian, or Splash Damage, but let off the hook but rather than writing them off I'd suggest waiting until Hunted has been released and checking the reviews before making a decision. If Hunted is a buggy mess skip it until it's fixed (if it still interests you), if it runs well you don't have anything to worry about. :)
