Heya guys! I have this problem for as long as I've been working with the g.e.c.k. and it's realy stupid I've never actually asked this question before. I have no idea if it's something I'm missing out or that it's just the way it is but here's the thing; I create an esp file with let's say for example a new race and let's name it 1.esp. When I'm done setting everything up ingame I save the "1.esp" to do some testing ingame. When I close the geck and reload the file everything seems to be working. However when I for example add something extra, let's say a new pair of eyes and save it as "2.esp" file will only contain the eyes, not the work from "1.esp". Which is kind of stupid, which would mean that each time I add something or change something to it I have to actually work from scratch again, because the loaded "1.esp" data doesnt seems to be saved into the "2.esp" file. It only saves the files which are marked by a * [little star dot...thingie]. Which are the things that you changed. So I was wondering if there's a way to somehow "mark" the loaded esp data? So I can just keep on loading and saving an esp and adding stuff? Or is this just the way it is???
