Tornado warning and touchdown in Dallas TX

Post » Fri May 04, 2012 7:27 am

There were 6 tornado's that hit the town I grew up in. It was pretty bad, although I slept through the storm.

However, I was just watching some news on this and they say that they have not found any dead or had reports of anyone dying because of this storm. That is amazing in an area where 7 million live that no one lost their life. It is great news out of an otherwise devastating even for those involved.

The storm lifted up 18 wheelers.

A friend of mine had one of those tornadoes rip through a handful of houses in the neighbourhood next to him in their community, and very very luckily got spared. Unfortunately there's quit a bit of damage.

I suspect all those houses around him are made from wood ?
