I feel like a complete idiot for asking this, however I've tried my best and failed.

If I add in a book, any book, it does... nothing. At first I thought it would be simple so I made my own book (by duplicating and editing one of the QA books) but it just did nothing, so I decided to try and add in a pre-existing book and that didn't work either. So the I duplicated one of the books that was in the area I was working in and that did nothing too.

What am I missing? Even duplicating a book doesn't work so I have no idea as to what I'm forgetting to do. By nothing I mean you can't use it, pick it up, push it or do anything to it. It's as if only the model is showing up with no collisions or interaction.

Sorry for my failness and stupid questions, I just really can't figure out what I'm missing.

First, the only stupid questions are the ones you don't ask.

Second, did you make sure the model you selected, and book you copied was an actual book? It sounds like the model for the book is a static so it just sits there and you cannot interact with it.

If i remember correctly (currently away from comp) I selected something along the lines of 'HighPolyConjurationBook' the first time I tried to make my own book, I don't know what the other models are since I just spawned in a existing book (Legend of the Dragonborn I think) the second time I tried.

What really confused me was that spawning a pre-existing book didn't work, and neither did duplicating a book that was on a table nearby.

That's a model for the players inventory. You want the book sub-catagory under items.
