I am totally not getting multiquote

Post » Fri Dec 09, 2011 12:34 am

I wanted to quote someone in a thread so I clicked on multiquote. nothing happened.

I cut and pasted their text and hit multiquote.

i can't believe I am like 1 out of 100000 people that can't figure this out, but how do I quote someone?

You hit reply under their name on the right side

So say you see a few posts you want to quote so you click multiquote. It gets highlighted. You then continue to multiquote the other posts. Once you have all posts that need to be quoted, you click "Add reply" and they'll pop up in the text box.

Multiquote is for quoting more than one person. If you click on 'Reply', it takes you to the Replying screen immediately, but with Multiquote, you can quote the person and continue reading. Selecting 'Add Reply' makes the quote appear.

Oh cool it worked. I've been trying to figuring this out too. Usually I've just replied to someone, posted it, then replied to another one but instead of posting that message I've edited my original post so it now has more than one quote.

Thanks! :D

Yeahh multiquoting all pro like :celebration:

Click multiquote and all quotes you want to quote and then the big blue button above where you post that says "Add Reply" click that, should have a blue circle beside it and thats you, multiquoteing all pro now :)
Don't click the green reply button under someones name if you want to do multi quotes :)
