The Forsworn are a piece of cake unless they have a Briarheart leading them.

Trolls are simply deadly until you get up in levels; so are bears. Dragons remain tough throughout the game for me, however.

Any animal really, they represent animals really well in that they'll just murder you. In terms of mods I faced a "villain" character in the Wars mod that one shotted me at range, or up close... it kind of svcked.

Well dragon priests are so obvious they're not even worthy of mention. I find hagravens, bandit chiefs in heavy armor, and any draugur above "restless" level. I particularly despise facing draugur and so avoid many of the quests. Also more than one sabercat at a time.

Not to get off topic but I've played skyrim for about 135+ hours and not once have I've seen the water things that are in the load screens

Slaughterfish? Not a big deal but annoying since you can't fight back.

Besides dragon and the dragon priest. High level spell users, and the briar hearts, bandit chefs, and finally the dragur death overlords.

Being a melee orc, animals don't really pose much of a problem for me anymore. I'm in that awkward level (levels 27-29) which is between the now under powered blood and frost dragons and the eventual deadly elders and ancients. So whenever those make an appearance I will have my hands full. Hagravens have always been a pain, and mages/conjurers pose a problem since I try to chase them down in heavy armor while they hit me with annoying frost spells. However, the most annoying enemies of all time have to be dragon priests obviously.. I feel like I have to cheat and exploit the environment and their predictable spell pattern to beat them (whilst saving repeatedly).

Considering I almost got killed by a gang of incredibly blood thirsty mudcrabs, I say anything above normal wolfs is a serious threat.

But on my last character the biggest problem were mid and high level frost mages. Sith Emperor Briarhearts get honorable mention.

Chaurus Reapers. They can really be a pain with their poison spit attacks.

Snowy sabercats. They are ninjas! the other day i was walking somewhere near Dawnstar, when one of the suddenly jumped me :( It completely ignored my follower and started hunting me, who desperately tried to survive. I died. I stood no chance.

Yep, Reapers are nasty at lower level, but you can use Animal Allegiance on them and watch them slaughter their Falmer captors. :)
Also I find high rank archer bandits and deathlords a royal pain. As well as forsworn Briarhearts.. my most dreaded enemy.

Chaurus for me. There is at least one place where you drop down into a mess of them and can't retreat.
The most difficult part of the game for me, and pretty early. Was killed more than once there.
They were the only ones that killed my follower Erandur.
Guess they continually poisoned him while he was down, and I got to him too late.
Had to reload.
Deathlords were impossible for me - even with Erandur - until I gained enough conjuration for more help.
I retreated often.
About 1/2 way through when my conjuration was strong, nothing at all got in my way, and I hardly swung a sword.
Erandur and conjured creatures handled the fighting.
Fine by me.
If I play again I'll try the same character (Breton) and put every point into conjuration from the start.
Just to see if I can get through without ever equipping a hard weapon.
Probably have to run away a lot, but that will be part of the challenge.

Doesn't matter what level I am, Sabre Cats.

"la de da, strolling along the road, singing my AAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHH"
Panic, panic
Cast's healing hands, then detect life, then equips fire spell in left hand and presses right button
Cat dodges punch
Press Tab.
healing potion x 6
Press Tab
Firebolt spell in both hands
Kill cat.

Every buggering time...

Dragon priests and mages. Man I can't stand mages. Spam you to death unless you have some good resistance +/- Spellbreaker.

This one has not many enemies, those that were are long gone. The wilds are tame in comparison to Elsweyr, here every creature is friendly, or persuadable, yes?

The strongest opponents I can remember encountering is Volkihar Master Vampire, Forsworn Briarheart and shock wielding Dragon Priests.
