They have informed me that because Bethesda are based in the US, we in the UK have no recourse with them regarding a refund.
However, under UK consumer law, we can return our faulty software to the retailer that sold us them,as the product is not fit for purpose, whether it was their fault or not.
You are then entitled to a FULL REFUND, not a replacement.
This course of action is theoretically possible for up to 6 years from purchase.
It would then be up to the retailer to take action against Bethesda if they so desired.
Proof of purchase is neccessary, obviously.
So anyone unhappy enough with their game, don't trade in and get short changed...get your money back,all of it.
