Trait Respec

Post » Sat Jun 25, 2011 4:19 pm

Not sure if anyone on the forums has heard or if a wandering dev could clarify a question I had about the upcoming DLC Old World Blues. Can you respec your traits regardless of whether or not you were selecting the as-of-now-unnamed trait that caps your level at 30? In other words, if I don't select the option to cap my level, can I still respec, or is it reserved for players who choose to cap their level? I'm very close to starting a character over from scratch 15 hours in because I am realizing I chose the wrong trait, and was hoping a quick answer could save me the headache.

It seems that we will be experimented on and will likely be able to respec regardless of that trait. But that's just speculation. What I really want to know is whether we are actually being punished for not wanting the cap extending and we will have to give up one of our traits for it.

I'm thinking there is some kind of benefit as well that they haven't revealed, but yeah you can cap your level at 30 in Old World Blues.

ah ok I see, its a new trait being added what a relief. Hopefully it wont punish us severely cause damn, I like leveling up and being capped at lvl 30 would kinda ruin my fun considering I like using shotguns and stuff. Unless they let us cap at that level but give us 10 perks and a few skill points by doing so.
