Then I started noticing other problems with the pre-war transport systems:
Roads: These things are REALLY tiny. If two trucks come towards each other, they will collide even if in different lanes.
Subways: I know the distances were shortened in-game to make walking easier (to the tune of 20 meters at one point), but the train-cars couplers don't even work with each other. A moot point since most are crashed, but I was dissapointed when I tried to make a passenger train to a new locale.
Monorails: I guess I could cobble a station out of mezzanine pieces from the metro, but the pieces of rail don't interlock with each other. A system should be made out of long, regular pieces, and in a nuclear blast, some should fall, definitely, but the short distances between debris makes the whole system look shoved in like a handful of model trees.
Anyway, I hope New Vegas fixes these issues, especially the roads one. I'm nervous cause they said they'd use the original roads pieces.
