Tribal Orcs Bounty when sleeping

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 11:25 am

When I go sleep in Solitude (specifically inside the Winking Skeever, not sure if it will happen anywhere else) I wake up with a 5 gold bounty with the Tribal Orcs. I know it's not a lot but I was hoping to go through witout ever having gotten a bounty. What's worse is that I have absolutely no idea why I would have this one anyway and it only shows up after I sleep. I go to bed with no bounty, wake up with one. Am I missing something?

I'll go see what happens if I sleep in other places.

Went to my home in Whiterun, woke up with a 5 gold bounty with The Reach. Also, Farkas was there telling me to join the Companions. Same thing happens in Honeyside, I get a bounty with the Reach and Farkas watching me sleep.

Edit: Okay, so I tried sleeping in my home again but this time for only one hour(I was sleeping 8 hours before). I got no bounty and no Farkas. Maybe I was sleep walking  .

I've encountered this bug in the past couple of days myself. I get a bounty of 5 gold added just about anytime I sleep, and occasionally when I'm just wandering. I usually sleep 8 hours at a time, and I also have a follower who is always present. I'm not sure what is happening, but today I had to use the console to correct it as I was starting to be harrassed by the guards. Anyone have an idea what causes this?

From all appearances this bounty is the result of "trespassing", which may explain why it is more likely to occur if sleeping longer hours. However, it doesn't explain why it just pops up out of the blue. I've had it added just walking through a village. I'd really like to know what is causing this.

"Hands to yourself, sleep thief."

Seriously, this bug sounds very unusual.
